Mérida, Mexico, Is a Favorite Travel Destination Among Locals — How to Visit
"For breakfast I kept returning to El Barrio for its Yucatecan comfort food with a twist; a standout is the Gemelos—two eggs on cornbread with a spinach salad, xcatic béchamel sauce, and Valladolid sausage—which made me extend my trip to try more of the menu." - Meagan Drillinger

There was a lot of people when we went so it was very chaotic, I can understand why the service was a little slow. The food was good, prob portions were decent and for a very good price. Convenient location off the main road.

Great value for money. Not the choicest of dishes for a house day menu but the selection was great, quality superb and 17 EUR per person is awesome. Steak was perfectly cooked.
