Lovely staff, amazing food, and nice vibe :) We visited here two times while we were there. I would recommend Iberico and braised goat!! Also don't forget to eat calamari 🤤 (A bit expensive compared to other restaurants)

The food was ok but the thing that upset me, was that waiter didnt correctly inform us how big are the portions. We asked how big is the soup and he told ‘light’. But the soup was actually pretty big. 2 people could eat that soup. So because he didn’t inform us about the portion sizes we ordered way too much. And we couldn’t take the leftovers, because he told that there is no take away option. Also we didn’t ask but he brought us bread. In the end we have to pay extra for the bread we didn’t even ask. I wasn’t happy about my experience in this restaurant. It felt like a tourist trap a bit. I would never come back there:(

At a previous restaurant, we had Fabada and loved it, so we ordered it here: there was such a small portion yet we were charged €28 for 4 spoonfuls. We had to go to another restaurant after to get food because we were still hungry. It was ridiculous the amount of Fabada we were given for a very high price, what we received looked nothing like pictures in other reviews, it was almost like we were deliberately given very little but for what reason I do not know.

The menu looked good and we were looking forward to it, but then they adamantly refused to let us feed our 2 year old from what we ordered for us, and demanded we order a full 2 course meal just for him.

Service good however very poor food. Small portions over priced approximately £27 euro for a very small portion of stew between two. Was laughable! Had to go to another restaurant after!!!

We ordered traditional asturian food and we didn't get disappointed! Excellent service and the staff was really friendly. Beautiful and cozy resturant, recommend.

Yelp
Excellent little bar and eatery in Arenas de Cabrales and if you are here you are probably making your way to or from the beautiful Picos de Europa. Enjoy some cidra, house made or local wine, or something from the fully stocked bar. Make sure you get some locally sourced chorizo, queso Cabrales, and a few bocadillos for a picnic later with the mountainous backdrop. They also have comfortable indoor and outdoor sitting to relax and enjoy the this tiny town on the way up the mountain. This is a perfect example of an old school Asturian establishment that is full of history, good people, and classic Northern Spanish fare. I highly suggest buying a canteen or two for the fresh, cold, crystal clear, mountain spring water that can be found along the countless hiking trails in the area. This old stone restaurant has been here for ages and you will understand why after being blessed by its charm.
