They have a selection of dishes that cover veggies/meat/sea food. We shared some fried squids, then had main courses of octopus and cod fish, tender and flavourful. Although a reservation is recommended, we arrived there right after they opened for dinner and got lucky to get a table at the second floor. They had pages of reservations for the evening and the place got full in no time. Staff is focused and attentive and they manage their tasks efficiently.

Visited Restaurante El Churrasco for lunch. They’re open from 2:00PM-4:00PM for lunch hours, and 8:00PM-11:00PM for dinner hours. We were ten minutes early, and they let us in right when the clock hit 2:00. Punctuality is priority! Bread was placed on the side plates and water was brought to us after we climbed up the stairs to the third floor. There are multiple rooms to this restaurant, FYI. Ordered quite a bit a food, and it all came in a fair amount of time. Although that could be because we were a few of the only customers. The food; amazing. I got Stew Broth with Mint, and I cannot explain the unique flavor. Also ordered a mini wagyu burger for myself, wanting to see how the meat tasted. It was delicious. We ordered a bunch of other stuff, and it was great.

I had an amazing dinner at El Churrasco. I did queue, and the place opened at 20:30 sharp. There were a lot of people in line, but still, I’d say you might find a spot even if you arrive at 21:00 - provided you’re not a huge group. Staff was friendly and I appreciated being placed in a room that was quieter, as I had my book with me. I wanted to try their churrasco and the taste of “brasa” was so present but in a good way. Meat was melting like butter - so tasty. My small salad was big and tasty too. I tried the cordovan cake and the portion was huge despite being the small one. I also had the amaretto and chocolate crocant, which was disappointing because there wasn’t no amaretto and the chocolate was an artificial syrup (a place like this could afford better chocolate). My wine was truly good. So, desserts are not the big spot, and I do recommend you get the restaurant forte, that is meat!

Google
El Churrasco in Córdoba is an absolute gem! For me, it’s hands down the best steak I’ve ever tasted perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The restaurant has a cozy yet refined atmosphere that brings a special touch to the dining experience, and the service is friendly and attentive. Beyond the steak, their selection of traditional Spanish dishes is incredible, and the wine list is impressive. If you’re in Córdoba, this is a must visit spot for a memorable meal.

Google
A Cordoba institution for more than 50 years. The quality of the meat and vegetable dishes on the menu are of the highest quality and perfectly prepared. Very good wine selection, aws well as a welcoming and professional staff. Highly recommended.

Google
Wonderful address in the Jewish quarter to enjoy some local cuisine in a beautiful setting. The restaurant has multiple levels, each with unique decor and colour palette. I was offered to try their local sherry (white) that I completely enjoyed. I also had a portion of their Spanish tortilla and loved it!

Google
great atmosphere and staff. i got wagyu burger and some desserts. burger and desserts were pretty good but as you can see from the first photo, fries were hilarious. not befitting a restaurant of this quality.

Google
A very classic place, with a staff that reflects that same traditional style — they engage with guests, offer thoughtful recommendations on dishes and pairings, and help create a truly pleasant dining experience. The food is well-executed, with some very traditional dishes and excellent quality meat. A solid choice for those who appreciate timeless hospitality and cuisine.

Yelp
Cute place with old world charm... the tapas bar downstairs was very busy... we had reservations and sat upstairs at the restaurant. Service was great... friendly and very professional. The atmosphere was everything to be hoped for. Food was a solid B+... more and more convinced that Spanish food just doesn't have the flavors that I am accustomed to with Italian, Greek or Turkish dishes. Plain, plain, plain.

Yelp
Some many great dishes here!!! Fresh Prawns with salt and olive oil, mushrooms with bonito flakes, octopus...all amazing. Hake was only average. Desserts are good too like the egg yolk dish. Would come back.

Yelp
There's something about going into a restaurant where even though you don't have a reservation they not only find you a table -- but provide you with a waiter who wants to make a personal connection. We were there for lunch on a Thursday and the waiter really spent time explaining what life was like in the area as he brought out each course. We learned of his family -- and by the end of the meal that he had been a soccer goalkeeper. We learned which foods were local options and why no one ate the oranges on the trees in the area when he brought out a plate of orange pieces I could eat. The fish was fresh, the beef was tender, and the sauces were great sides (I liked the green garlic one the best!) Oh and my son scarfed down the entire dessert which looked like a thicker version of flan.

Yelp
I ordered charred loin steak medium. It came very rare so I sent it back. It came back still rare, pink/red all the way through. I had to send it back again because I couldn't chew it. They brought it back the second time medium well. I'm not sure if European medium is different standard but the waiter was very nice about it and had no issue changing it. My husband ordered beef cheek which was significantly better. See pic below. We enjoyed the sauce and it was a large portion. This place is slightly pricey so I expected a better meal. I'll stick to eating my steaks in Texas :)

Yelp
Wanted fo love it but it was just blah - we ordered a number of things and they were quite mediocre - probably best thing on the menu was the sanmorejo with eggplant and the ox tail - service in Spain is very slow and relaxed pretty much everywhere you go, not what we are used to in US - not that we are on a rush but had to remind servers to remove empty dishes when we were done with them. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and well decorated, wish the food was a bit better.

Yelp
Kind of tricky when entering you got to ask for Tapas section/menu. Or they'll take you to their full menu/ac section of the restaurant. We had to ask to get switched over and they didn't seem too happy with it. Once we got the tapas menu, we had steak tartar, tuna tetaki (my favorite), flamenquin, and fried eggplant (really good). 1 less star because the service wasn't great and it felt like they weren't as friendly once they switched us over.

Yelp
I had a rabo Del toro (15.50 euros), which was okay, and my wife had a Pez a la espalda (14 euros), which wasn't good at all. On the other hand, the service was excellent. For the price, I expected more from the food.

Yelp
Wine list exceptional ! However the local regional wine selection pairs well with food of choice. The selection that was chosen on our last night in Spain was a perfect compliment to what Spain is known for in the interior- meat- pork, lamb, beef with wonderful desserts as the final conclusion to dinner,

Yelp
Best meat in town, we order the pork shoulder. The texture was so rich and melted in my mouth. The store offers a variety of of fresh seafood and meat to choose from. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable. A pricier than other restaurant ranked 1-10 on yelp but somewhat worth it

Yelp
Had amazing meal on a Saturday afternoon. I Loved the Ox Tail stew. Very good Sangria and the customer service was excellent. Easy walking distance from the tourist spots. We had a group of four and did not make a reservation and had the place to ourselves around 14:00. Would highly recommend if you want meat in a quiet atmosphere.

Yelp
Great food, the seafood soup was very tasty and the mixed meat grill for two full of great cuts of meat. Friendly, prompt service by attentive, but not over-attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I highly recommend this place. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The salads is a must try the mix salad and code fish.

Yelp
This review is 1 1/2 years outdated, but this place is so great, it deserves any good review, no matter how outdated. The restaurant has a fancy atmosphere, and here is fresh fish & meat being displayed in the front of the restaurant. I ordered salmorejo as an appetizer, despite trying it for the first time earlier that day. For my main course, I ordered pork with a vegetable blend and Arabic sauces, which tasted INCREDIBLE. I will definitely return. food: 5 stars cleanliness: 5 stars atmosphere: 4.5 stars employee kindness: 4.5 stars service: 4 stars

Yelp
A delightful evening with friends was improved by the helpful, friendly, humorous and professional staff at El Churrasco. They served us samplings of tasty, perfectly grilled gambas (shrimp), outstanding Iberico ham, melt-in-your-mouth artichokes, toasted bread rounds drizzled with olive oil, and perfectly delicious postres (desserts). Our repast was accompanied by a special bottle of Rioja wine (Lealtanza Reserva 2004), and finished with a delicate, honey-like home brewed dessert wine. Everything was impeccably fresh and of superior quality.

Yelp
Decent food and typical Córdoba deco. At the heart of the Jewish quarter. Great service provided by classic gentlemen.

Yelp
My wife an I were here during the holidays and it was a little cold. We sat down at our table and I noticed that the table was warm. Curious as I am, I peeled back the tablecloth an noticed that there was a container with warm coals in it. I am sure that a fire marshall in the states would never let this fly, but that is what I love about traveling. The service was very attentive and my wife had a very good piece of duck. I personally do not remember what I ate, but the total for a good size lunch for 2 was $50. The atmosphere and the service are what stand out here for me.

Yelp
One of our splurges on our trip. We came here late after a concert, and were treated like kings by the very professional wait staff even though they were getting close to closing for the night. The food was all excellent, although a bit spendy. I'd recommend it if you want some grilled meat or fish.

Yelp
Amazing yummy food, with fantastic service, good prices and great ambience. Could not be happier with this place!

Yelp
One of the best meals of our 2 week trip to Spain. Great selection of meat and seafood. Desserts were among the best I've ever had. Service was top notch.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and decor. Started with sardines and anchovies tapas, recommend. The ensalada mixta was simple, but amazing. Beef goulash and Suckling Pig shoulder was really good. Friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely visit again next visit to Córdoba.

Yelp
Very welcoming and friendly staff and the best waiter I have ever seen the old gentleman was very friendly and the food is also very delicious I would recommend it to anyone

Yelp
This place was good not great. The gazpacho was pretty good. The mushroom was also pretty good but again wasn't the best meals. The rest of our party ordered a variety of meat which they said was pretty good. The fish looked fine but no one I was with ordered it. The restaurant on the expensive side and is mostly tourists but has a nice ambiance. If you are a vegetarian this is NOT the spot, as the two items listed above are the only things that aren't meat or fish.

Yelp
The food was outstanding, the grilled sirloin melted in our mouths and the service was excellent. Our waiter cut our steak for us and was attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Had a fabulous steak, ranks with one of the best I've ever had - for that alone I rate the restaurant five stars. Other dishes were good to very good. The house wine was delicious, and the service and atmosphere were very nice. Tried to go back another night, but it was their night off.

Yelp
I don't know why but the waiter had given us wrong menu but the food which we had was horrible. We had broiled mushroom and fried fish. Both were extremely poorly done and the waiter did not provide us with anything to compensate and then charged $40 on top of it all, disgustingly bad.
