One of the really delicious and casual restaurant of Valencia In a lovely setting with a comfortable (if not exactly romantic) terrace you will discover plenty of local specialities The veal is amazing and the desserts excellent Service is welcoming and friendly

I decided to use 5 ⭐️ because it was really first time to enjoy 😉 dinner with my family in that restaurant. Food was really delicious 😋 Staff was really nice and polite.

Literally, best food in Valencia. Period. Also, the entire staff was so friendly and helpful. They suggested a wonderful wine then individually matched our tastes based on local/seasonal offerings. I loved every minute of my dinner here! And the prices are so reasonable.

We went here after a terrible experience at a nearby Italian restaurant, no the Terrace next door. The staff are amazing, happy to help with my poor Spanish. Interesting menu, but also honest explanation that some fish was not available, because they couldn’t get it fresh from the market Their wine is displayed and they are more than happy to explain and advise, as well as letting you try, even on the house wines. It was so good we went back the next night.

Four ⭐️ because of the wide selection of wines and amicable service. Food more hit than miss as some of the dishes were yummy whilst others were lazy and should have stayed in the kitchen -like the bacalao con tomate in the photo, where a tin of tomato purée was stuck on a top of a bacalao filet. W0t??

two days ago we ateat this restaurant, and what can I say? It was a wonderful experience! The menu had many choices and various language versions, which really helped us. The food was very good, the prices weren't high and we didn't had to wait much to eat. Even we didn't spoke the local language the waiters made us comfortable and tried their best to understand us. I even asked for a different version of a plate that wasn't in the menu, and the waiter accepted it without hesitations. The place was pretty too, clean and elegant. So yeah I raccomend it, especially if you want to eat good dishes with a good price!

Awesome place. You need reservation though, went 2 times and it was full inside, we could only sit outside. :) And its toilet has wonderful design! :)

El Encuentro is a stone's throw away from the Plaça de l'Ajuntament (the main square in Old Town that is now closed to traffic for pedestrians.) Don't judge it from the simple exterior. It's more of a traditional restaurant with some variations from a standard menu you'll find across Valencia that cater to tourists. We began with the meatballs (a must). I had the beef tail, which was one of the most delicious oxtail stews I've ever had. Full of depth and flavor, the oxtail sits in a delectable gravy which you'll be able to sop up with some bread. My other half had the veal sirloin, but it was a bit too gamey for him. Reservations are highly recommended. Keep in mind that many places in Spain close after lunch and reopen for dinner around 8pm, so make that reservation earlier in the day if you plan on having dinner. The food and service here were wonderful. Well worth a visit. Takes cards and cash.

Spent a very pleasant evening here enjoying good wine and well-presented food options. Weather was perfect for taking advantage of the ample patio space that lets you watchthe world go by. Had the bacalao basque style and it was excellent. Good wine list where we chose the Matarromera from Ribera del Duero (always excellent). Friendly service.
