Restaurante El Fogón del Salvador

We are a mature couple who went to the restaurant a tuesday for dinner without reservation. We wete lucky to have a table at 9 PM. Very proff and friendy waiters, good knowledge of food and beverages. We shared a bacalau carpacio, 10 zambirinjas and then each a lubina. One dessert, a glass of patxaran, coffee, water, one bottle of white verdejo wine, a beer, a brandy. Price 121 € for two. We can only recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food, desserts... and excellent service in a beautiful restaurant. 5* for all this. The rather pricey wine menu is the only minus for this place going down to 4*.

It is very nice place and the most I like that they have an English menu :)

Despite being full and busy, one of the waiters scoped out and saved us a spot at the bar. We ordered pulpo, croquetas de jamon iberico, lechon de cordero and cochinilla. Our group of four were blown away by all four dishes, especially the lamb. Definitely do not miss this spot if you are in the area.

A reference in traditional food specially roast meat (lamb and cow). Not cheap. Excellent tapas also!

Great menu and desserts , excellent service​ good wines , normal prices

Soria's historic center does not offer lots of good choices to have a great meal. And Yelp is useless there. As in many restaurants in Spain Fogon del Salvador has restricted working hours. 1 to 4 pm and 8 to 11 pm. Just that. Great selection of wines and good Castillian food. Service was attentive and profesional. Pricey but good.
