Extensive Menu with something for everyone. The Seafood & fish was amazing. The Cuban Sanwhich was pretty good! Attentive & fast service. Great for business meetings in the city.

Went there today with my friend and it was a bad experience. 1-The waiter didn't even gave us the menu after 5 minutes of us asking for it. 2- Our Silverware was dirty and he had an attitude when we ask him to change it for clean ones or for plastic ones. 3- Hi attitude stinks from the beginning, if you want attract and retain people you should do better. El Trapiche was 20 out of ten.

Im happy that they opened again after the pandemic hit. We got take out and they got one of our order wrong but it’s ok because the food was delicious 😋 we got the seafood platter, French fries, soup, sausage, and other meats. The rice in my opinion wasn’t that good because it was kinda dry and I wish it was kinda more puffy and wet. 🍚 In the other hand, the seafood platter and sausage and meat was amazing 🥩🦞, I highly recommend getting the sausage, it was so flavorful. The mashed potato was also good but it could need more salt 🥔 My final thought is that there is many dishes to choose from and the food was wonderful.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The place surprisingly felt like a Chinese restaurant you'd see in a typical American Chinatown. Big menu, similar system, non-fine-dining plating style with a lot of food but it's supposed to be Panamanian food? Some items were great but I got stringy potatoes. Service was also just ok. We were just downtown and wanted to have some food and it did not disappoint. But this is not the place you plan to visit when you visit Panama City. If you're nearby, it's probably ok to stop by and you won't regret it. But don't make a trip for this.

This is a great cafeteria a la carte restaurant. Milkshakes here are just drooling-delicious and sandwiches are tasty and generously prepared. If you're looking to dine meat, poultry, or seafood they have great dishes to choose from as well. All in all this is a Panamanian restaurant with many years in service offering great food at very reasonable prices.

One of the Classic local restaurants, with a dinner style atmosphere that makes you feel welcome; The Mesón features great sandwiches made to order, fresh coffee and juices, amazing soups (sancocho and seafood caldillo are delicious), and a great variety of other freshly made dishes! They only close from midnight sunday eve to monday 7am (so it's basically a 24 hr place). Don't miss the lunch specials!!

It's really a classic. This is one of those places where you always go with family or a "I don't know what to eat" place. The sad part is the increase in prices, which is because of the remodeling of the restaurant. The service is good, but I would love it to be more attentive. As for the food, it's really good, but the menu is not that extensive. If you want to eat pasta, this is not the place. But aside from price and somewhat limited menu, everything is really good.
