Restaurante El Puchero de la Nieta

The restaurant was simple, clean, and homey. The food was good and the servings were generous. We ordered ensalada de zorongollo, cochifrito, solomillo ibérico and a tapa of orejas.

We found this place inside the city for a spot of tapas dinner. They had decent options for vegetarians and the staff were friendly enough to explain in English. They even went ahead to show pictures of the dishes for us to understand. Toilet facilities were clean and we appreciated their delightful service. Lovely wine recommendations as well. Prices were fair and recommend this place for tapas or food.

The food was delicious. The mantilla de cerdo was outstanding. The bacalao dorado was very tasty too, but it was a shame because it came quite cold. Then I was almost overcharged for an item that I did not order. The service could be friendlier too. Must reserve ahead because they turned a lot of people away, even though the restaurant did not seem full.

Alejandro was amazing! Thank you for the tips on what to eat and drink !. The three of us left the place rolling of how full we were. Best food in town ! Thanks again Alejandro !

schedulle is not correct. We walked 20 minutes and restaurant was closed.

We thought we'd give this place a try after reading a good review here. We found it, and there was no board or tables outside, and the doors were closed. We stepped into the cool interior, outside was scorching, and we weren't disappointed. The menu del dia was tasty - proper food, and with good service. Thank you.

I had an amazingly good Menu del Dia for 14 Euros. And the service was excellent. Definitely a good choice of where to eat in this part of town.
