Restaurante El Veril - La Graciosa

There are very few options for to grab a bite to eat on the island, however if there was a perfect beach bar this is a fine example. The moment I sat at the table and looked over to a beach, people in the water, boats, and sunshine, I realised this venue helped make my holiday too good to be true. You sit down and the smells that hit you make you want to order what is cooking at that moment in time. This place saw us visit twice after initially having an amazing lunch made with produce that tastes hours fresh. Then we decided to return the same evening for dinner. The staff are very welcoming and chilled, making us feel very relaxed showing they have confidence in the good food they serve. My only disappointment was I didn't get to return a third time, but one day I will.

I arrived in La Graciosa today. I was looking for a restaurant to have dinner. There are not many opened now. So I read some reviews about this one. They didn’t sound nice. Actually, this restaurant has the lowest score. Anyways, I decided to give it a try. The food is correct, fresh and tasty. Service was really pleasant. Indeed, there is a man here that seems grumpy and I guess you were referring to him in your comments. I have to say he’s actually nice. More than that, he even stopped me from ordering more food, telling me that the food is enough. Made me laugh, but he was right. Also, there is a young lady that’s super warm and made me feel like home. My point is- you can’t expect people to be nice to you if you’re not nice. Plus, this island has a very laid back atmosphere. If you’re searching for a pretentious service, this is definitely not the place for you. *bonus, I also had good company for dinner. Made a new furry friend. Thank you guys for tonight! It was perfect for me! See you again!

After a bike trip wanted to sit for a drink and to eat something.older guy without greeting started yelling while i was approching empty table at 17:00 (just to be clear there were at least 4 empty tables at a time) "solo cafe, no. solo cafe no" meaning that you are allowed to sit only if you eat. Such a terrible costomer service is hard to find...you just missed 2 customers but from guys behaviour and other comments here its obvious you couldnt care less

El Veril is the best place to enjoy fresh fish and octopus in La Graciosa. The seafood is always perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Their mus de gofio is absolutely delicious and a must-try! The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the island

If you are english you are ignored. Stopped for lunch. Other tables seated after us & orders taken. We were ignored. Also a fly problem. Don’t waste your time. Leave when this happens.

Nice atmosphere in the evening with the romantic lights, the waiters where a bit stressed but we also arrived later then usual dinner time and the food was good. Not the best we ever ate but still really good. We took the gambas ajillo, puntillas y las croquetas mixtas (8 pieces, 3 tuna, 3 pollo(chicken) & 2 spinach) we liked it!

Sadness on a plate. The oil wasn’t hot enough and therefore the croquettas were soggy. We also ordered some patatas bravas but we got served some soggy fries with ketchup and that was also a dissappointment. Good thing about this place is that the drinks are served cold.

Situated on the beautiful harbour beach, that is unfortunately full of glass, the service at this place is the worst. My partner, our young child and I sat at a table, were asked if we would like a menu and then waiting around 15 minutes while the waiter served spanish people before us who had just sat down. Pretty xenophobic, so we left and went else where.
