The food was good albeit buffet style. If this is a culinary s hook then the kitchen staff are being taught well, the servers not so much. They don't seem to know how to deal with customers in whatever language they can. Almost like they are scared of making a mistake when mistakes are going to be made if you are learning. I'd say a lack of direction. The food is worth the price but you'd have to decide for yourself. There could be more dessert choices.

For those who like (or wanna try) the regional cuisine, that's the place! Heaven! There's an open buffet that allows the guests to try and compare many different Bahian tastes: from seafood to the countryside specialities. Everything very well prepared. That's not exactly cheap, but extremely good value compared to the nearby options. Unmissable!!

Food very good, possible to try traditional meals in quantity like you want. Service really good and patience. Good prepared for tourists, even not speaking portugues what it's not common in Brazil. Very positive.

Great value and an ideal introduction into regional specialities because you can sample almost every dish well executed for a prix fixe. I wish they had a microwave to reheat foods a little. Their affogato coffee with Tapioca ice cream, dried lemon slice and coconut chips was art in and onto itself. I will come back only for that coffee creation (see picture)

This place is simply a paradise. The quality of the ingredients, the selection of local recipes, the amazing service, the ambience… is everything perfect and for an incredibly affordable price.
Highly recommend!!

A great place to go sample some bahian cuisines though NOT recommended for vegetarians! Unfortunately I made this mistake and paid the hefty price (90 reias approx). In fact, there were less vegetarian options here than I've paid in the cheapest buffets in Brazil (no salads at all and only some very basic boiled veg). I probably should have investigated first. Don't go if you're a strict vegetarian. If you eat fish/seafood there's lots of options.

Good restaurant and school. You can taste lots of Bahian food. Servants also get dressed of Bahian traditional cloths. If asked, they are pleased to take photos together.
