Our waiter was Jiel, who made sure that our dinner was very special. The food was very interesting and different from everything that we had tried before. In the photos you can see olives and nuts, which were given to us upon our arrival (bread and olive oil with balsamico is also offered). For starters we had croquettes and guacamole. We also tried the duck with potato gratin, which melts in your mouth. Even more interesting were the cocktails, because they were custom made just in that restaurant. With or without alcohol, tasted very good. What was even more interesting, was the chance to see how the bartender makes them. I would like to mention that it was a birthday dinner, so they also made sure to bring us a dessert with candles and sing a song, which was very sweet. Overall, the atmosphere was great, so was the location. Big thanks to Jiel for making our visit there exceptional, as well as everyone else who was included! :)

A wonderful experience on the terrace, even in December. The setting is very pleasant, and the welcome truly warm — the staff are friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The food is excellent, all homemade and full of flavor. It’s the perfect place to enjoy quality time with family or friends. We’ll definitely be coming back without hesitation!

Wonderful place with great food. Our waiter Jiel was very attentive and friendly. The pictures show wok with chicken and a Pornstar martini. Incredible cocktails. Background music was local and soothing. I'm sure the view is great as well, will definitely return when it's light outside.

During our visit, we enjoyed a smooth arrival (no waiting, reservation handled perfectly) and were welcomed warmly by the team – in particular by Monika, who set a positive tone right from the start by checking in on how we were doing. It’s a small gesture, but one that made us feel genuinely cared for. What we ordered: - Bread and olive oil (4€) – (Served without ordering) - Sparkling water (0.5L, 4€) - Starter: Duo of Croquettes – Salmon with Sriracha Mayo & Oxtail with Cranberry Sauce (7€) – 8.0/10. Nicely executed starter, with the sriracha mayo pairing beautifully with the salmon. The oxtail version was equally delicious. - Main: Tuna Poke Bowl (19€) – 7.0/10. Fresh, colorful, and generous in ingredients, though the pickled cucumber clashed slightly with the overall flavor profile. - Main: Duck Confit with Forest Berries, Crème de Cassis Reduction & Pumpkin-Potato Gratin (27€) – 7.0/10. The duck was well-cooked and tasty, though a little fatty. The sauce portion was too small for both the meat and gratin, which left the dish less balanced than it could have been. Good food good staff , a perfect 10/10 for me. Last night we tried some of the food from the new menu: Patatas bravas: the baby potatoes were perfectly cooked. soft in the middle and slightly crispy and toasted on the bottom. I found the choice of baby potatoes perfect in size and texture for this tapa. The dressing is unlike anything I’ve tried in the area because it had a light texture almost like silk or mousse?, it was very very far from the overwhelming taste of mayonnaise. It has personality, it has a deep flavour with a kick and usually with spicy food it leaves a burning sensation or even a bitter one but this one didn’t. The spicy of the sauce is rich and flavourful and goes perfectly with the potatoes, a perfect snack or starter in my opinion. 10 Fresh homemade Tagliatelle tiger shrimp with cilantro: wow. What a simple yet tasty and satisfying dish this was. The pasta was perfectly cooked, you can tell it is made with lots of care. The tomato sauce was fresh, light and perfectly cooked, the cilantro and the shrimp make the perfect combo along with the tomato sauce. I like that a piece of lime comes with it and you can add it if you want. I don’t know, the chef is from Ecuador which explains the delicious spiciness. Gotta try their wok next time Salmon with sautéed or grilled vegetables and spicy puree. Salmon was buttery, perfectly cooked and the skin on top was perfectly crispy.. what a treat! The vegetables were the bedding for the salmon: they were packed with flavour and you could still taste them. Salt level was perfect for all of these dishes, especially the salmon, for me personally. I enjoyed eating the puree and surprise was that it was spicy, it didn’t look like it and yet while tasting it you could tell the potatoes were mixed with some spice which was surprisingly delicious. Usually mashed potatoes are bland but these I found were a smart addition to the dish, it was not just plain carbohydrates, it was actually bringing some more cohesiveness to it all which was satisfying. Overall, I’m very impressed with the food. We will come back and the prices were surprisingly fair to us given the quality of the ingredients that were used and because it was all homemade. Staff were very warm welcoming curious about how everything was, we felt comfortable. I found their service to be fast, gentle and attentive throughout our dinner. I enjoyed this experience. A 10/10. We had lunch here with friends recently and all enjoyed great food and hospitality. It's been a favourite place over the years as it's always consistently high quality. Thank you to Jacqui who continues to be so professional in her role.

Garum stands out as an absolute favourite of ours in Marbella. Not only does it have a perfect location along the Golden Mile of Marbella, which means no cars or traffic nearby – you are sitting 10 meters from the beach. This is a restaurant with a clear vision of creating the best experience possible, and they know how to deliver: Great atmosphere, excellent service, the food and drinks not only taste amazing, everything looks amazing too. This is a place in which you can truly have a slice of paradise. Of course, this puts the restaurant at the higher price range compared to the area. But it is in no way expensive. From our perspective as experienced travellers, having such an exclusive dining, the prices offered are moderate. We had dinner for two, and 5 drinks total, priced at less than 100 Euros. If you are in or near Marbella, we definitely recommend dining at Garum.
