Excellent in every sense. A must try. We’ve order menu of the day for 29 euro each. We had a bottle of red wine, seafood soup, seafood and king prawn lasagna, steak, beef cheek and desserts. All are superbly cooked and of Michelin grade. Please try.

We had two menus of the day. One was good the other not. I had the stuffed aubergine and the hake with grilled veggies and mine was decent. 3 stars . My daughter had the seafood lasagna. My god it was oversalted and she also had the entrecôte. Fries inedible- soggy and soaked up tons of grease. The piece of meat was mostly gristle and silver skin. 1 star. Both desserts were decent to good. Flan was a bit overcooked but I liked the burned caramel flavor, my daughter did not. Her “cheesecake” was delicious. Pic of the leftovers included to show not an exaggeration. 60 euro with tip. I would hesitate to recommend the menu at least based on this experience.

Great restaurant in Santillana Del Mar Every dish is prepared when ordered. Nothing is pre-made. Restaurant is small reservations are suggested it opens at 8pm Is full within 30 min. Friendly service.

This is a very traditional family style restaurant with a small seating capacity of about 10 groups at a time. It is highly recommended to make a table reservation if you want to dine here. The waiter was very friendly and explained everything about the menu to us in detail. We ordered the menu of the day, which consisted of a starter, a main course and dessert. They also offer complimentary bread and drinks if you order the menu of the day. For starters we chose the Seafood Soup and Sailor's Risotto, and for mains we chose the Stewed Wild Boar Cheeks and Entrecôte. All of the dishes were delicious and full of flavor without being overly salty. The price was 28 EUR per person. It is very rare to find a restaurant in a small town that offers this quality of food. It's a great way to innovate on tradition without losing interest in the dishes.

Incredible quality, incredible service, extremely generous portions. The daily menu price is absolutely fair considering it comes with an entire bottle of wine. It’s rare to find such a comforting, genuine, and beautiful restaurant in the middle of a bustling tourist destination. Absolutely dine here if you’re staying for lunch or dinner.

We were travelling as a family of 3 adults and this was recommended to us by our hotel. Couldn't be more pleased with our choice. The food was good, the portions were quite large, and the service was great. Don't normally recommend too many restaurants, but this was one of the better meals we had in nothern Spain.
