Restaurante Hikaru - Marbella

Loved the place! Great service, amazing food and decent prices! We will come again to enjoy another evening here. The only question, why is nigiri that expensive in Panamá? 😲

* Be aware that the place is kinda hidden, you have to go in through this "corridor" in between 2 restaurants that face the street. There is parking at the back. Best gyozas, miso, hosomakis, ramen, etc in Panama. Authentic taste do if you are used to the other "sushi" places. El mejor rest autentico Japones en Panama! Ramen autentico, por fin! Y el moriawase es riquisimo. El lugar es chico y la cocina cierra a las 10:00PM.

I spent almost $40 on two of the saddest looking sushi rolls and some seaweed salad. I would never return.

The food was good, service could be better. This restaurant is intimate and was a bit difficult to find (for me as a tourist, maybe?). I really enjoyed the chicken—the sauce and rice was just perfect and really complemented each other. I usually order takoyaki whenever I visit Japanese restaurants and I liked theirs as well. Their sushi and matcha mochi were standard. Honestly, I liked all the food and sake I ordered. They just really need to improve their customer service.

I’ve been here three times. The fish quality is great and the sushi chefs/service are terrible. Waitresses are generally unhappy and rude. Sushi chefs don’t know how to make sticky rice that stays together.

We found this place is because good comments, but once we came but anyway we decided stay. The waitresses was unhappy faces. During all the time approach was a very low level. Food level was no so good that we expected based on the comments. In general we are not recommended

Until now its one of the few restaurants were you can find real japanese flavor, and many different dishes. From udon, curry, sashimi, etc The staff even greeting you like Japan and always are happy to help you or say thanks. The bad things are the virtual menu and prices. The menu is only on web so you need a phone with internet, something that restrict the public. The cost, as many others, its too expensive. A normal panamanian cant afford to eat there. Also the option for kids is not so healthy or almost no so many options , costly too.
