We’ve been waiting for a long time to dine here, we were really excited but our experience was very average. To start they didn’t have sparkling water which shoulda been an easy fix before shift, wine pairing wasn’t available either because the sommelier was sick. The sushi and dishes were great and high quality but the dessert was a let down. It was a bit boring especially the mochi, it was served with room temperature green tea - I expected more from a Michelin star restaurant. Also, most dishes were eaten with a plastic spoon - I expected better cutlery. As soon as we finished, we were given the bill straight away. They did it even offer us the option for a coffee or another glass of wine, we would’ve stayed for a glass of Japanese whisky or umeshu which they didn’t have either. We also would’ve tipped but it seemed like they wanted us out. A bit disappointing.
