Hotel Spa La Casa del Convento

I would say that this is one of the better bars in the plaza de Chinchón. Although it looks quite small from the outside, the restaurant area is actually quite spacious and has quite a colonial feel to it. I loved the white linen tablecloths and the plants which surrounded the dining area; it gives the restaurant quite an exotic and classy feel. The bar, although compact, is very welcoming and the Tapas that were served with drinks we're very tasty. There is a dedicated Wine Cellar that can be seen inside the bar and there was a sommelier who took his time to explain the different wines of the region and the wines that they had available. My experience in this bar was very positive and although I used to go to another bar in the plaza of Chinchòn, this will now be my new regular. Edit: I was just reading some comments about the service or poor service in this bar and I have to say that my experience was completely the opposite. I found the people to be very engaging, very patient (when I couldn't decide which wine to order) and they were extremely polite and very friendly. I generally have a problem with the brusqueness of the service in Spain but this place exceeded my expectations.

It took us 40 mins to find this hotel in Chinchon. It didn't help that half the narrow streets were closed and we went down 2 one way streets the wrong way causing much havoc and horn blowing, but it was well worth finding it. My best tip would be head for the Plaza and park. The hotel is just round the corner on the lower side. Check in and drop off any heavy luggage as the secure parking is off down another street. Beautiful small hotel and really lovely people. We had the suite as it was our anniversary and it was very good value

Gracias. Un hotel con encanto. Servicio de 5 estrellas, combinado con un lugar acogedor y familiar. Todo el equipo desde Bea , chef, recepción, cocina una verdadera delicia. Una atención exquisita y divine. Detallistas. Vanesa en masaje mil gracias unas manos de ángel y una mujer estupenda. Equipo mil gracias por hacer una estancia tan exquisita que da pena marcharse. Y como se dice en la película Volveré!!! Y el regalo de despedida super .! 2 pequeñas observaciones. (Mejor luz en habitación y el circuito de la 1era etapa de spa mantenimiento y recorrido completo) Restaurante y comida de 10,parada obligatoria. Enhorabuena por todo y a todos.

Hemos tenido una experiencia muy muy buena. En pleno centro de Chinchón. Lugar con encanto. Atendidos con detalle y mimo por todo el personal. Ambiente familiar y cercano. Empezamos con un aperitivo en 'La cueva" qué es la parte de bodega más fresquita y misteriosa del edificio. La comida de después, espectacular en sabor y presentación. Los postres especiales. No puedo más que dar las gracias por haberles conocido. Sin duda volveremos 👌🏻

Una experiencia muy positiva. El personal fue excepcionalmente amable y atento en todo momento, lo que hizo la estancia aún más agradable. Las instalaciones están modernas, limpias y bien cuidadas. El servicio fue rápido, eficiente y siempre con una sonrisa. Sin duda, un lugar al que me encantaría volver.

Un lugar bonito y familiar. Me llevó mi hija a disfrutar del Spa y del restaurante. En todo momento estuvieron pendientes de nosotras por si necesitábamos algo. Muy amables. Salimos satisfechas y relajadas. Totalmente recomendable

Un lugar idóneo de finde, muy tranquilo y acogedor, el personal super amable y atento. Era como estar en familia. Y una reseña especial para Vanesa, la chica de los masajes, un encanto y muy profesional y atenta, que manos y dedos, te deja nuevo 👍👍 La única pega el Spa, no está acorde con el precio, estaban cosas sin funcionar aún. Por lo demás de 10 . Volveremos seguro a terminar de probar la cocina tan exquisita que tienen. Lo recomiendo

Estuvimos por nuestro aniversario y no habría podido elegir mejor destino para un fin de semana. El personal de lo más amable y atento. Cuidan hasta el más mínimo detalle. Las estancias y restaurante muy rústicos sin perder la comodidad.
