HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND This is a small restaurant with a pretty view and friendly and professional staff. But the best thing about this place is the food! Some of the best food I’ve had. And every single dish was amazing. The shrimp was so fresh and sweet, the tuna salad was so well balanced, the octopus melted in our mouths, everything was truly delicious. This was my first time enjoying shrimp this much and my first time liking octopus. And this grilled tomato with pesto was so good and smoky. Really recommend going!! Also should call ahead and maybe make reservation- we got so lucky cuz someone canceled so we were able to get a table without one but otherwise we wouldn’t have

The best food we’ve had in the restaurant since we arrived in the island! The amberjack fish char-grilled was delicious but it would be tastier if it was grilled a bit longer. The grilled fish on the bone I had in Japan usually breaks away from the bone and the oil and flavour from the bone get into the flesh when it’s heated through. (Totally my personal preference, the waiter did say the grilled fish might be a bit on the pink side). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to on the island – absolutely recommend visiting! The place has an amazing view of the ocean and is located right next to some of the best natural pools. You can enjoy a great swim and then have a delicious meal afterward. Make sure to reserve a table if you want to be sure to get a seat — the food is incredible, and the restaurant is very popular! The service was fantastic — fast, organized, polite, and always with a smile. We really appreciated it. And most importantly — the food was simply outstanding! This was the best tuna I’ve ever had in my life. The tuna ceviche was amazing, as well as the baked tuna dishes and traditional local foods like papas arrugadas and gofio. Everything we tried was unbelievably delicious. Huge thanks to the team! Highly, highly recommend visiting!

The staff was super attentive and explained every dish with a lot of detail. The views while eating were incredible of the natural swimming pool and the ocean. We would have definitely gone everyday there for lunch and tried everything on the menu if we had stayed on this part of the island. Super recommended! P.s. order the tomato!

What a delicious delight! We ate at La Gaviota on a Thursday and had to return on Saturday! Such tasty, fresh, well-prepared food! The restaurant and terrace are facing the sea and natural pools. And Margarita is smiley, bright, and offers good service. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely food, great location, great service. The first time I've ever seen staff lecturing to customers (but in a good way)! Arrive just before 1pm to get the full experience. Pay attention, questions may be asked afterwards...

The whole terrace was reserved except for one table, so I was lucky to get a spot. I recommend reserving in advance. While I was eating, two different couples near my table went out of their way to tell the waiter that their dinner was the best they’d had during their holiday. I agree! They have great vegetarian options on the menu. The staff is very friendly and patient.
