The staff was super attentive and explained every dish with a lot of detail. The views while eating were incredible of the natural swimming pool and the ocean. We would have definitely gone everyday there for lunch and tried everything on the menu if we had stayed on this part of the island. Super recommended! P.s. order the tomato!

Amazing pescatarian food, very friendly staff and a great view. Worth the 1,5 hour drive for us! We had the amazing charred tomato with pesto (best tomato I ever had), ceviche from local fish and grilled octopus. All delicious, well balanced dishes and made with love. Ignore the bad reviews here, most are from the previous restaurant that was here before. Best come hungry ;)..

We loved this small restaurant, very nice atmosphere and excellent service! They served the best sashimi we have ever had (make sure to get the raw prawns!), and a really tasty an delicious fish ramen. Absolutely worth a visit, both for the food and the amazing views!

Wonderful food with a great view. If you are in La Palma you have to go here! There are a lot gluten-free and lactose free options. And a very tasty local wine.

We only had coffee and cake here, but it was really worth it. The view from the terrace is wonderful

Great place to eat on a road trip around La Palma. There are sea swimming pools to enjoy, but I preferred to watch those brave enough to try them at the restaurant. The waitress offered to explain the menu is Spanish, German or English, which she did with every customer. I stopped her and asked for her recommendation for local fish and local wine. I ended up with the tuna fillet, cooked medium, with local potatoes and bread with mojo. It was delicious, a great portion and the wine was lovely (enough for a second glass)! I'd highly recommend a stop here for an hour or so.

We walked in and after a caña in te sun got a table. Best seafood we had in La Palma. Especially the peton sashimi. Staff was also kind and fun. We even spotted a whale breaching the water during the lunch. Amazing experience

La Gaviota is situated right by the sea, perched on a cliff next to natural sea pools. The location is enchanting, offering stunning views of the ocean, the sound of waves crashing against the rocks, and the refreshing scent of the sea. The service and food were equally delightful, as was the local white wine. We began with a half portion of gofio escaldado, which, while not visually appealing, was flavorful. A half portion was just the right amount for the four of us. The char-grilled tomato was a standout dish—it was the best tomato I have ever eaten! Large, juicy, with a subtle smoky aroma and flavor, it was topped with chèvre, nuts, and fresh herbs, creating a perfect combination. The octopus ceviche with strawberry was another highlight, accompanied by thin slices of house-made crispy potato chips. These could be paired with either a rich butter or a flavorful gofio paste, adding an extra layer of indulgence. The yellowfin tuna served with char-grilled tacos was equally impressive. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table, but it was absolutely worth it ❤️. La Gaviota was the best restaurant we visited during our stay in the beautiful La Palma.
