A local traditional restaurant offering pretty generous portions of really good food. This place is popular amongst locals...and I fully understand why... warm welcoming atmosphere ideally located restaurant by the heart of the city centre but a less noisy old street. Just love the place 🙏🏻❤️🌿

Great local food in a traditional old house. The prices are high, but the plates are huge. We took half of the food home and ate it the next night for dinner. The salad was amazing (amazing queso asado), and the fiesta pork dish is super good. Careful - they charge you for the bread and mojo they bring without you asking for.

The food is good depending on what you get. They didn’t have the first two items I wanted included the dish we came to this restaurant to get. The Ropa Vieja. We came in May so it’s understandable they didn’t have it because it’s a stew so it’s a winter food. But maybe tell your customers what you don’t have. Also, you have to pay for the bread and sauces unless you tell them you don’t want it. 4 stars is very accurate for this place.

The place is very cozy, with a small terrace, the food is delicious, and they tell you the allergens in each dish. A spectacular place if you're visiting Tenerife.

We stumbled upon this restaurant right after arrival in Santa Cruz. It looked very authentic and there were lots of local visitors. What can I say - it turned out to be one of the best restaurants we visited so far. The price was super reasonable and everything was fresh and delicious. 10/10 would recommend (I especially loved the aubergines with honey and the pulpo)

If you want to eat a tipycal canarian food - this restaurant is your place. Casual atmosphere, good staff. You can pay cash or with card

The food here is delicious! We had very good recommendations from the staff. We had squid ink black rice, white fish with potatoes and eggplant dishes. They are all super delicious and of superior quality. However the fish for 3 persons cost 76€. Although the quantity advised was perfect, it would be better verify the price and weight before cooking. It could be language barrier that we didn't expect this price. Will still recommend this place!

Fantastic place to eat some authentic Canarian cuisine. The location is excellent too, being very close to the tram stops, and in a very centric place in Santa Cruz. The place itself is lovely with a nice more traditional-looking architecture and design but well-kept and clean. Best way to eat with a group is ordering different starter dishes that you can share among you group, as the portions are pretty big.

Wonderful local specialties! We really enjoyed our lunch here. Service was great, and we enjoyed eating outside with a gentle breeze. The wrinkled potatoes are a local staple, but also try the eggplant appetizer!

Fantastic Place! This is the oldest restaurant in Tenerife, founded in 1893, and it's truly outstanding. For lunch we had the house red wine (house wines are almost always safe in Europe, unlike the US) and a complementary Amuse with rolls and two sauces. We started with Gambas al Ajillo (prawns in hot garlic oil) and shared this wonderful dish. For our main courses we had Grilled Calamari and the fish special of the day, Black Sea Perch. Both dishes were served with 6 small Canary Island potatoes and a whole grilled red sweet pepper. It was, admittedly, a large meal, but a real treat. For us, this was the very best the island had to offer. (We skipped dinner).

Great food but beware of ample portions. You might need a takeaway bag/box. Large beer was perfect for lunch. Pulpo (octopus) both style are recommended.

Apparently this is the best place in northern Tenerife on Yelp so we had to check it out. It's in the middle of Santa Cruz, the street it's in, is not particular great but the area in general is nice. Most reviews is said it's a place mainly visited by Spanish people which you can also see from the reviews written but i can't confirm that. I assume due to the great listing on various review sites it's either now attracting more customers or it was related to the fact we came right after it opened but all other guests around us were german. The service was professional and fast but i haven't experienced them as super friendly neither unfriendly. I ordered Secreto & chick peas but unfortunately was told a bit later they wouldn't be available so i was recommended something similar. I have to say i was really disappointed with my food, i think it was as it should be, but basically this pig part i got was mainly fat and i am not a big fan of that. My plus one ordered a salad. I think this is a solid place offering solid local food, but i didn't agree with some other opinions that it would be outstanding.

Only complaint would be that there were a few menu items we wanted to have that night. All of the food was tasty and gave the feeling of an authentic local meal. We had the best sizzling shrimp and octopus. There were a few local diners as well as tourists like ourselves. The food was great the canas were great. We will definitely be back.

A really great place in Santa Cruz, the Ambiente is ubique, the staff very friendly and the Food is gorgeous. No touristical sh.. but real Home made food like your grandmom's. I had the chicken soup and the Calamares. Very delicious, also the neighbors plates looked great. Check it out

Service is correct, nothing more. The guy really tried to speak English/French which is really appreciated. We had our starters, meals, sangria and softs for a good price. We had a mix of grilled meats as main course and some fried potatoes not so well coooked. I was 50/50 about this restaurant but my fiancé appreciated it, so...

Excellent food. Perfect atmosphere, on a side street in a quaint neighborhood. Food was simple, but well done. Local cheeses, jamon iberico, and the red wine "tinto" (which in this case was like a Malbec). Service was great until after 8:30 or so when the crowds arrived. But this seems to be a cultural thing. Wait staff are rarely lurking and refilling glasses.

Amazing sirloin steak and Black porc. And also very friendly waiters. You just gotta eat here if you have the time

Nice atmosphere, very good food and fast service. We were especially suprised by the chicken and apple sushi, which everyone should give a go! Only downside is that the place was packed when we visited on a monday night. But can you even call that a downside?

Huge portions. Food was good. Wifi. Picked this one due to a (perceived) lack of options for tourists in Santa Cruz but it worked out.

omg this place is the best place to eat that i have ever been to the waiters in the restaurant were so nice and were always making sure that ur food was ok but it was bettr then ok it was brilliant i definitely recommend visiting this restaurant . xx

Amazing place with nice food. Usually Spanish food is fatty but in this restaurant everything was very nice and made from high quality products. Definatly will go again there.

A neat restaurant offering very good canarian food. The waiters didn't speak English but were very friendly and helpful.
