The owners are true artists – the cuttlefish with sweet potato purée and lentils, made to their own recipe, blew me away. It was absolutely delicious. I actually only wanted to eat something light so as not to weigh down my stomach for the rest of the hike. Because it tasted so good, I tried the dessert – a kind of cake with a gofio base. It was also exceptionally good. I was served a wine from the highest vineyard in Spain.
Even though the owners were clearly under stress and there was already a queue of hungry tourists at the entrance, they took the time to explain the dishes to everyone and chat briefly in a very friendly manner.
I am very happy to have discovered this little gem.
