Lovely meal, prawns were slightly overcooked but the rest lovely and fresh.

The restaurant is beautiful and classic, a good menu. We chose the 3 course menu option for 58,- pp. (some drinks incl.) So overall conclusion, food was good but not special or mind blowing. The potatoes were not fantastic. To rate with quality, the amount and a nice atmosphere we would say too expensive. We expected more because of the high rating.

We have now been coming here on special occassions/Christmas lunch since we bought our apartment back in 2018. It is a family owned gem, a high class establishment in San Juan de Alicante. The food is of excellent, savory quality, with base in the galician cuisine. We cherish the personal, yet professional approach and have learned to know a bit more about the family members. We are always welcomed with open arms, a warm handshake and traditional Spanish kisses on the cheek. As you can understand, we will continue to come back for a genuine Spanish ambiance and tasty experience.

Delicious food. There is however a lack of vegan options for mains (they didn't even have a plant-based milk for the coffee). I understand that it is a Galician restaurant, so most dishes contain fish or meant. It would be great to see at least a main vegan option when I return.

Attentive, friendly staff. Charming venue. Very good traditional Galician food. This restaurant is a great choice in Sant Joan!
