A great experience, food was awesome. Nice typical Colombiana restaurant.

I'm just back from a late lunch there. The food was tasty, the waitresses were very sweet and attentive. The boss seemed to me a little too dictatorial. She recommended me one of the Peruvian beers and I had three of them, each at a whopping 20k each which I found later. That's the most expensive beer I've had in Colombia inc Cartagena, Bogotá and Medellin. Why rip your customers off? Un robo!

Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The churrasco was overcooked both time despite asking for blue and them changing it. The chorizo dish was really underwhelming. All this and it was fairly expensive relative to other places.

We heard great comments about this place so it was a disappointment to invite the family there. The American breakfast that included fruit had 1/4 of an apple and 1 (ONE) sliced strawberry. I couldn’t believe it, forgot to take a pic but I’m still wrapping my head around that 🤯 We all ordered different breakfasts but we ended up frustrated by the plantain portion which was just cubes, not an entire piece or a couple of pieces as in other traditional restaurants in the region. The food was greasy. This type of typical food is usually “heavy” if you are not used to, but is delicious. Nothing like a paisa or montañero breakfast. It doesn't have to be that greasy. I’ll not come back.

During my recent visit to La Ruana in Pereira, I found my experience to be just average. One aspect that stood out to me was the service; unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. Additionally, I encountered difficulty with parking, which added a layer of inconvenience to my visit. When comparing the prices at La Ruana to other similar restaurants in the area, I found it to be notably more expensive. Considering these factors, I have decided not to return in the future.

Service is pretty decent. But the food is really subpar, slow, cold and doesn't really have any differentiators to other "menu el dia" type of restaurants. Overall, food is low quality.

It was good , not the best but good enough. The dessert was perfect though. Staff was very friendly.

The atmosphere is quite traditional within one of the better areas in the city. According to my two Colombian companions this was the worst Bandeja Paisa they were ever served. It was acceptable but about 6-8 different versions later I have to agree with their judgement, which discounts this restaurants quality.
