Restaurante La Yegua Loca

I'm always unsure when places get a perfect score but this restaurant pulled it off It wasn't just the location/view or the drinks. The staff were excellent and attentive and most spoke English. The king crab appetizer was tasty with good presentation. I got the lamb shank which was fall apart tender on potato medallions with spinach sauce and a gravy. The congrio eel cheeks stew was amazing in a tomato, red pepper, olive ragu/salsa. I hope they read this because it was too salty.

We stayed here but it was not the reason why we dine here twice for our two day stay. Love their eel cheek stew and king crab risotto among all great dishes. Great view of city and Strait of Magellan, awesome bar and dessert selections

Came for lunch without a reservation. This was the best meal I had during two weeks in Chile. Drinks, food, service, and views are top notch. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the creativity and quality. I’ll be thinking of the pistachio lava cake for a very long time. Never had anything like it, sad I’ll likely never have it again. Everything was delicious and thoughtful.

The restaurant has an excellent reputation and a good menu with lots of interesting choices. One warning, the portions (as in much of Chile) are huge and you might want to consider sharing starters or desserts.

Absolutely wonderful on all fronts. Got us in without a reservation and had some of the best food I've had in Chile. The stuffed chile and pepper ginger sorbet with the lava cake were especially amazing.

A wonderful restaurant in a nice hotel. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast several times, and were very satisfied. Fresh local seafood, well-cooked lamb. Perfect service and friendly staff. Great view.

Reservation is required. The food is amazing. The views even better. The service is top notch. There are plenty of excellent food choices. Pisco flight was excellent.

Very, very good dinner. Made a same day reservation. Super cozy atmosphere with some heaters and stoves going. Excellent service. We had a bottle of wine, appetizer, two entrees and two desserts for 93k CLP including tip. The king crab risotto was excellent. We really enjoyed their house wine as well.
