Restaurante Los Caracolitos

We visited this seaside restaurant hoping for a fresh seafood experience, and while the ingredients were definitely fresh, the flavors of the dishes were a bit underwhelming. Everything looked great on the plate but was missing that extra kick or seasoning that would really make it memorable. The location, however, is stunning — dining right by the sea made for a lovely atmosphere. The biggest downside for us was that the restaurant only accepts cash, which we weren’t prepared for. In this day and age, that was a bit inconvenient and caught us off guard. That said, the service truly stood out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It made a big difference and we really appreciated it. Overall, a good experience, but with a few improvements — especially to the flavor of the dishes and the payment options — it could be great.

Exactly what a fish restaurant should be. Saw the fresh brought in from the morning's catch. The sardines were small but plenty of them and the hake was well cooked and moist.

Fantastic place. Lovely seaview. Service very friendly and food delicious. Ordered small starters. All very nice. I recommend the alcoholic canarian coffee dam tasty. Will be returning

Stunning location along the seafront in the small fishing town of Las Salinas. We drove and found parking easily but you can take the #3 bus from Caleta or walk 20/25 mins. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Let me practice my (very broken) Spanish and didn’t auto-switch to English for us. We had the sangria and mixed seafood paella to share. More than enough for 2 people for lunch and the produce was really high quality and flavoursome. Cannot recommend it enough and can’t wait to come back.

We had a nice lunch at Los Caracolitos. Paela was tasty. The appetizer bread with the sauce was amazing — I could have eaten just that! Big thumbs up for it. The Spanish tortilla was not the best though. It was overcooked and hard inside. It should be softer and creamier. We also had a visitor — a black and white cat sat at our table and really wanted our chicken and fries. It made the lunch even more fun! Friendly place, good food. Fantastic fish restaurant on the beach by the salt museum. They do meat and other food too. A very warm welcome and lovely relaxed service.

This restaurant was among the highlights of our holiday. Food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Nicely priced for lunch. Great views, really enjoyed our visit.

Really nice, yet casual atmosphere with a huge window that looks right over the sea - perfect at sunset. Set off in a tiny enclave of the village, quiet and beautiful. Friendly staff. Bread & aioli was delicious. Tomatoes and cheese tasted like something that I could prepare at home. Fresh fish had nice garlic, but an overall average flavor.
