Malevo is definitely one of my top beef restaurants in Medellín. The menu features mostly Argentine dishes, including wines like Rutini and Trumpeter. I ordered the entraña, and it was delicious, very tender and full of flavor. The provolone cheese was a bit too runny for my taste, but everything else was outstanding. Funny enough, the entire staff who served us also seemed to be Argentine.

Ironically I have eaten next door to Malevo 100X in the last few years. Today a friend recommended the Argentinian Beef 🥩 after the gym. I noticed flank steak on the menu- my favorite. It did not disappoint. It was tender and salted to perfection. The chorizo was great too! This is a hidden gem in barrio Manila.

Sebastian was an AMAZING server. His recommendation of the skirt steak and side salad was very helpful. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the vibes were great. I highly recommend a visit!

Malevo delivers an outstanding steakhouse experience. The steak I ordered was perfectly cooked. Their sides were equally impressive; the chimichurri brought a fresh kick, and the potatoes were crispy and rich. The staff struck the perfect balance between attentive and relaxed, making the whole evening feel effortless. The warm, modern atmosphere makes it just as good for a date night as for a dinner with friends. Highly recommend Malevo to anyone who loves a well-executed steak. The dessert was amazing. 100/10

This restaurant is in a nice neighborhood in Medellin, Colombia. After looking for a steak house and not many restaurants been closed we decided to go to this Argentinian restaurant. The salad was very good but the quality of the meat that we were serve was not of a good quality the beef was tough and chewy. The pork was over cook and the chicken was tasteless.

Very disappointed by this restaurant: the woman ;(Fernanda)attending us should probably change job as we could tell that smiling was complicated.
Thank god she didn’t ask if we had enjoyed the food. The answer would have been that we were both disappointed by the fibrous/nervous meat (Ojo de Bife) and the cold plate. No effort was put in the presentation nor the service. This restaurant is definitely overrated and overpriced for this city.

I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, always enjoying a glass of wine with my meal. Today, the manager said only half bottles were available and didn’t mention the price. I was shocked to see it cost 120k COP—more than both my dishes combined. No heads-up, no transparency. This is how regulars walk away.

Is this the best restaurant in Medellín’s El Poblado? It might be. It’s certainly the best Argentinian I’ve had so far. The meat was outstanding, the empanadas were delicious, and the prices were very reasonable.
