To start with, the restaurant is a bit on the expensive side compared to other Spanish restaurants. However, given its strategic position, I reckon all five restaurants in the area would be similarly priced. The restaurant was packed, so I had to sit outside. Although it was cold, it was a wise choice given the amazing views. I tried the pork cheek, which was succulent but left me wanting more as the portion was small. The coffee with milk was a pleasantly good. The staff were friendly and courteous, although we had a bit of difficulty communicating in English.

The staff at Posada San José recommended this restaurant to me. When I arrived around 1:30 PM—earlier than the usual local dining hour—I was the only customer, which allowed the owner to give me his full attention. He suggested a fantastic wine and recommended the Goat Cheese Salad with Fruits and Braised Lamb Chops from the day's menu. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed lamb chops this delicious, especially for lunch. As I finished my meal, more customers arrived, and I concluded my dining experience with a delectable slice of cheesecake. My dining experience here was unforgettable because of the delicious food, the server's helpfulness, and the owner's warm friendliness.

The owner was so nice but the food took a while and the flavourful was a let down. The cheese sticks were the best of the dishes. The Cod was not to my liking and the lamb was just ok.

food was awful service even worse. this restaurant was recommended by a tour we took to cuenca. no one waited on us. when we were finally approached we ordered the soup, pizza and hamburger. the pizza was terrible, soup was even worse. an hour and a half after being seated i asked for the check and canceled the hamburger which was never brought to the table. i know the Spanish like to take their time eating but this was not about leisure it was about bad service and bad food. go somewhere else or bring your own lunch during these tours. on the bright side we had a delicious cafe con leche next door.

Ate dinner here on a nice summer night. The service was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food was outstanding, I really enjoyed the Ferrero roché de Morcilla, which was recommended by the waitress, and the tarta de queso. Great views when sitting outside.
