I have tried different Latin restaurants when I go to Rehoboth Beach, and this is one of the best. The food is authentic prepared by the owner. Street parking and the prices are amazing!

LADY AT THE FRONT TAKING ORDERS SHE'S NICE...THE FOOD WAS GOOD. NOT BAD AT ALL BUT... SAD TO SAY YUK! YUK! YUK! UNFORTUNATELY, WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. LOOKS LIKE ALL OF GEORGETOWN IS CRAWLING WITH ROACHES IN THEIR RESTAURANTS. ALL THE MONEY THEY ARE MAKING OFF OF US AND NOT INVESTING IN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT. HEALTH SERVICES NEED TO TAKE A LITTLE TRIP AND GIVE THEM A LIST OF WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. CLOSE DOWN FOR A WEEKEND AND FIX YOUR RESTAURANT YOU ARE MAKING ENOUGH MONEY TO DO THAT. THE CEILINGS ARE DISGUSTING DUST EVERYWHERE TO THE POINT IT IS CAKED ONTO THE WALLS AND TURNING DARK DROWN AND BLACK AND NEED A GOOD PAINT JOB HAVE AN EXTERMINATOR COME OUT YOU HAVE ROACHES CRAWLING ON YOUR CURTAIN AND ANOTHER SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD IS YOUR FIRE ALARM IS BEEPING WHICH COULD MEAN YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES OR GET A NEW SYSTEM ENTIRELY. I KNOW THE OWNERS WILL IGNORE THIS SO I WILL HAVE TO MAKE A CALL AND SUBMIT THE PICTURES I HAVE TO THE HEALTH SERVICES/FOOD SAFETY IN DELAWARE. YOU OWNERS CAN NOT JUST OPEN UP A RESTAURANT AND NOT HAVE EDUCATION ON HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS.

Delicious tortas, fajitas, and tacos to just name a few. All fresh and savory. Enjoy!

True authenticity. 90% of the time, the food is enjoyable. They were so much better back then though.

La comida esta deliciosa! Tienen tantas variedades de comida un poquito para todos. The food was delectable and also plentiful. They have a great variety of options. Tacos, tortas, tamales, chicken fried chicken, fried fish. They also have aguas frescas like horchata and jamaica. If you dont speak spanish dont worry they have a dual language speaker in the waitress.

Loved the chicken tamales... Had dark meat with bone in which made it very moist and flavorful. Also loved the plantains although they were a bit greasy. The tacos were good, but I prefer some other places' tacos.

Google
I'm sorry but I have to be honest, the food wasn't good, I hate to say something bad against their business but I think they should take care more about their food. I'm not gonna give details, but it wasn't good.

Excellent! Clean, fresh & Pretty food. I love the fresh fruit drinks such as papaya :] Latin home cooking with flavorful bites. Always reliable & consistent quality. ☆☆☆☆☆ ♤♤♤♤♤

Yelp
I once loved this little hole-in-the-wall, authentic restaurant. I no longer go. Cockroaches all over this place: in the booths, the floor, walls.

Yelp
Haven't been back here in a while so decided to order a quick lunch 3 carne Asada tacos 3 al pastor tacos 2 chicken tamales As always, food is good here and hot the spot

Yelp
There are several highly-rated Mexican restaurants in the Georgetown area, and we plan to try them all. The chicken tamale had good flavor and big chunks of chicken meat (big +), but the meat contained numerous bones (big -). The carne asada tacos were ok. The meat was a bit tough. I also really appreciate the option to add toppings from a salsa bar, and that option wasn't available here. My wife really liked the chicken soup... me, not so much. I liked the people and the location. I really wanted to love the place. However, while the food left me satisfied, it was uninspiring.

Yelp
Three years removed from Mexico and this was the best find on a cold evening. It felt as if we just walked into a classic taqueria restaurant on the street in Mexico, with the same tastes. The Torta, the Guacamole, the tacos, EVERYTHING - PERFECTO. This made me miss the best cultural aspects I ever realized in Mexico, and here it is in Georgetown. This experience emphasized how much rewarding to go here, rather than an upscale, expensive and "decked" out restaurant- and no need. This establish was PERFECT in about 20 ways - very pleased this establishment exists and continues to serve the excellent food and service :) Service prompt, courteous, and made everything even better!

Yelp
Georgetown does not exactly host a wealth of great Mexican. Or a wealth of great restaurants at all! But this place is a solid choice for yummy food if you're in the area. It's incredibly tiny - 4 tables tiny - and looks kind of like a dump. But don't be afraid to visit; the lady who took our order was friendly enough, the food was tasty, and it was dirt cheap. You just have to walk up to the counter to place your order. The menu is surprisingly varied for such a small restaurant. Lots of platter choices, traditional Mexican soups, and tacos and sandwiches. My dad and I each went with a platter - he chose the pollo mole (only $6!), and I chose the chipotle shrimp (about $10).The mole sauce was really good, and I'm not even a huge fan of mole. This platter came with black beans and rice. Both were cooked well, but a little bland, which ended up being a good choice because all you want to do is cover it with the mole sauce anyway. My shrimp dish was also delicious and cooked really well. Lots of shrimp, and the entree came with rice, beans, and a "salad." Both came with hot and clearly made to order tortillas. Since this was my dad's first time here, and he wanted to sample the menu, we each picked a taco to try. We went with the adventurous and picked cabeza and lengua - head and tongue meat! Please don't be scared to try these, they were both so yummy and the head meat was so buttery tender and flavorful. Tacos are a mere $1.75-$2.00 a piece. If this restaurant was near me in the Philly area, I don't imagine I would go back. I get to choose from a bunch of Mexican joints that are just as tasty and almost as cheap, but with nicer staff and cleaner tables. However, if I were to visit my dad again and he picked this place, I would definitely say yes!

Yelp
This small Mexican restaurant is hidden from view- a little hole in the wall- not to be missed! A full menu with tacos at just a couple bucks, as well as platter meals and soup. Try the fresh juices - melon is great and the rice water- but the mugs are huge! Excellent traditional quality! Give it a go!

Yelp
A truly local Mexican restaurant that has great food and a very good price. While the dining area is a little "rustic", it has an assortment of Mexican food but a limited drink selection. It is a small hole-in-the-wall as I walked right by it twice, instead of looking for 110, look for the number 106 on the front door. I had a steak sandwich w/onions & cheese, it was very good, I would stop there again!

Yelp
went there with my kids last night. I can't say enough about how good the food was, which is the main reason for the 5 stars. We had an assortment of tacos, fajitas and a steak quesadilla. To drink horchata, mixed fruit shake and papaya shake. BBQ taco, Quesadilla and horchata were my favorites. But all were good. This is a down to earth kinda place (not fancy)... I.e. order at the counter and get served on paper plates. The wait staff forgot our drinks but it wasn't an issue especially after we saw the size of them... Large 24 oz plus glass mug. Very nice and pleasant. Great food!

Yelp
After reading the reviews on here, we decided to give it a shot and were very pleasantly surprised! While the place is a bit run down, everything was delicious and authentic. Would stop by again! Thank you for your hospitality

Yelp
Tried this place for lunch and was a happy camper! Out of the Latin American restaurants in the area, this was my favorite so far. I ordered a chicken tamale and rice and beans. I thought it would be a nice, light lunch, but the portion sizes were very generous. The chicken tamale was fantastic and so flavorful. I had food envy of all the horchatas I saw coming out of the kitchen while we waited for our food--next time I will definitely get horchata, too.

Yelp
Top notch , super authentic Mexican and Guatemalan food at low prices. I tried ceviche mixto ( of the heavy on the tomato variety , with sliced avocado on top.. throw some Valentina hot sauce in to make it complete), tacos de tripas ( that's intestines, so not for the weak), and licuado de papaya ( papaya shake). the Guatemalan owner is friendly. All other customers appeared to be Mexican or Guatemalan immigrants. this place is an A+.

Yelp
It was amazing. Hole in the wall for sure. But some of the best food I have ever eaten! Tacos are the best. Don't expect service; order your tacos, eat them, and be happy. Go home a better person.

Yelp
When you step into Mi Laurita, you may want to immediately turn around because of the torn up couches and unkempt bathrooms. DON'T DO IT. This place is heaven in my tummy. I believe it's Guatemalan food. Fajitas de pollo have never let me down. Succulent juicy chicken strips with delicious sautéed onions and peppers over rice (and beans, if you please). Comes with some fried plantains which were the only thing I didn't finish on my plate - a little too sweet for my taste. Servers are so sweet. Try to order in Spanish if you can.

Yelp
Found them through Yelp and have a new favorite... Great food, deliciously authentic, and friendly staff... Enjoyed a taco assortment and plantains, and wanted all the other food I saw walk by ;-)

Yelp
Delicious, fresh hole in the wall restaurant. Steak fajitas were amazing. Chicken quesadilla was a little greasy but still very good. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
So freaking delicious. Tacos were awesome. The shrimp ceviche is great and you get so much for your buck! Friendly staff. Overall great, can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I can honestly say this is the best, most authentic comida mexicana in the area. If you're smart, you know what authentic Mexican food should look and taste like. This is it. Hole in the wall, paper plates, and where all the Georgetown locals eat. Great prices and fresh ingredients. The quesadilla de pollo was so much more than just that. Flavorful chicken served wth fresh avocado, pico de gallo, black beans, and the best rice ive had on Delmarva. A friend got the ceviche. Omg. $9 for the freshest and best tasting ceviche I've ever had. And the horchata! Unreal. Do yourself a favor and visit this authentic hole in the wall. You won't regret it!!

Yelp
Excellent and authentic Mexican tacos, and the fajitas look good too. I mean authentic street tacos - not the loaded down fake tacos you can get anywhere. Thick tortilla, meat, onion, cilantro. Fresh limes for flavor. Simple and delicious, and for less than $2 each you can go to town :)

Yelp
Excellent food with fresh ingredients. Food was cooked with flavor and large portions. Would eat here again and highly recommend.

Yelp
Best Mexican food in town by far! So cheap! Huge platter of amazing food for 7.00!! Carne asada platter and mixed fajitas are the best deal! Just hope if your placing a to go order the person on the other end can speak English if not they just hang up on you! But its worth it!

Yelp
Thanks to the Yelpers who reviewed this place before! After a long hike in Redden State Forest, My Dining Companion and I were famished. Two minutes with Yelp, and we settled on Mi Laurita. It's out of the way, in a block of Mexican-focused businesses in one of the older parts of Georgetown, but it's a safe, nice area. At 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon, the place was full--of Mexican men, enjoying their food. We walked back to the counter where you order, and the proprietor directed us to sit on stools and made us feel well at home. I had Chicken Mole, and my Companion had Chicken Quesadillas. We each had Luchados (Shakes)--one banana and one mixed fruit. The shkes were fresh, delicious, and redolent of fruit and high-quality milk. The quesadilla was delicious, served with a fresh sald with a perfect avocado and a fresh cucumber slice that was crunchy and elicious. And the mole...it was wonderful! the perfect mix of chocolate and chiles, and the best I've had since leaving California six years ago. Served with high-quality black beans and yellow rice, it was a very satisfying lunch. We were the only Anglos here, but we always felt welcome, and the food was wonderful. The sureoundings are aimple, but the heart is big, and the chef is is masterful. When we are back in the area, we'll certainly return here. We wouldn't miss it.

Yelp
This is a hidden little gem!! Very good and completely authentic Hispanic food! Not what I thought it was going to be and don't judge the food quality based on the looks of this place. You won't be disappointed at all!!

Yelp
Recently tried the food here and was very pleased .... Food was delicious and the service was great! We ordered the chicken, beef and shrimp fajitas with white rice and the stewed chicken over rice with salad and a side order of sweet plantains! Generous portion size and the cost was reasonable! Will definitely go back!

Justine I.

Yelp
The woman that took our order didn't speak a lick of English, and I only speak 1/64th of a lick of Spanish. It was all good though because the food speaks for itself. I got the tacos de lengua (beef tongue), tacos de cabeza (head meat), and a chicken tamale. All the meat was very melt in your mouth tender, and the tacos were just bursting with flavor.

Yelp
Excellent Torta de Barbacoa, very tasty shredded beef on a roll, with lettuce and tomato. A salsa verde was served on the side. The food is great.

Yelp
Found this place with my son and we loved it! Tons of food. Got the chicken quesadilla and ceviche. Huge and amazing. Not much to the place but the food makes up for it. Will def be back!

Yelp
Food was good. However, we were sitting next to a mural and bugs kept poking out of the bottom of it. I lost my appetite... Place was clearly grimy. Do not recommend.

Josie M.

Yelp
Quality food for a great price. You may want to turn around but don't, this has to be one of the best and most authentic Hispanic restaurants I have been to. The fajitas, soups and tacos were great & cheap.

Yelp
This was an amazing find in Georgetown, DE! My boyfriend and I were staying at a hotel near here to go to the beach and were looking for a close place to get some dinner. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall joint with that's easy to miss, but pay close attention because you won't want to. The food here is authentic and fresh, with delicious handmade corn tortillas and huge portion sizes. For $7.50 each, we got 5 tortillas with a hefty plate of food and each of us got at least 3 slices of some good-looking avocado. The pollo en ranchero was our favorite, but the fajitas are great too! Be prepared to speak a little Spanish when you order, but don't be intimated. The food is worth it and the service is friendly! If you're anywhere near here when passing through for Rehoboth or Bethany Beach, DEFINITELY stop by!

Jessic J.

Yelp
Food was excellent! A hole in the wall for sure. I actually wasn't going to go in and eat( because of the appearance) My husband said lets just try it. Don't judge a book by its cover. Glad I took his advise. Food was well worth it. We did dine in and the owner made us feel very welcome. I think we found our weekend spot. We will probably do take out next time but we will be back.

Yelp
If Mexican is what you are looking for then look no further. I'm not sure who Laurita is but boy can she cook. Come enjoy authentic Mexican food and friendly staff.
