This is a small and inconspicuous restaurant. The set menu is around €20.5 and comprises of a starter, main, dessert and a drink. When the starter came, the portion is very generous; enough to be the main! Tried the pasta with tomato and it was delightful. The vermicelli with vegetables is wonderful as well - I was surprised that they cooked this rather well as it is an Asian dish. For the mains, the portion was huge too, the grilled pork and the steak feels homely. The chocolate cake and the carrot cake were fine.

I visited Momo with reservation online and I must say that the cuisine is fantastic and the owner is also friendly! I would like to go back and taste more. As for price with entree, main dish and dessert with one drink, it is 20 euro for dinner but it's really good value! Highly recommended!

Excellent all around. Friendly service, lots of menu choices and delicious food. They have a set "menu of the day" for 12€ at lunch which includes first course, second course, dessert and drink (wine, beer, soft drinks, water). The beet and watermelon gazpacho was refreshingly delicious on a hot July day, and the salmon tartar on almond-garlic soup with a touch of melon was amazing. Round out the meal with an almond cake with a hint of orange, and you've got perfection.

Menu del dia includes their whole menu. The service is really good and the food is okay.

We had dinner here last night and everything was perfect! I had a vegetarian burger (which I‘d normally not go for) as first dish and it was delicious! Also the second dish, tuna, and dessert, lime and lemon cake, yummy and refined. Very fast and super friendly service. Great value for money. We‘ll be back!

Delicious, fast, good price. For 12eur I got 3 courses and a drink. Cerviche was great!

We have been traveling for over two weeks and this is the best meal we have had. The food was amazing! I had the couscous tabouli starter and the combination of veggies and dried fruits sang in harmony. The tuna tataki with chipotle mayo and “summer vegetables” was perfectly prepared. If it wasn’t our last night we would go back! Service is exceptional! Unbelievably great food for the price.

It is one of my favourite restaurants in the lively neighbourhood of Chueca. The place is run and owned by members of the LGBTI community. They are always friendly and kind. Feel free to ask about allergies and other restictions. They only offer daily menus, the price varying between week days and weekends. Make sure to try their desserts. I advise you to book beforehand since they are usually crowded.

Yelp
Out of all the menu del dias that we tried, this was our favorite. Love the large menu, the friendly staff, that you can look up the menu in advance on their website (in Spanish and English!), and the bread is good, too! Such a steal at 13.5 euros. Even getting all that food for their 20 euro holiday/weekend price is amazing. Favorite primeros: - garam masala lentils - fresh pasta - judiones Favorite segundos: - pork cheeks with mole and chile oil - beef stew - steak - cod confit The desserts were their weakest course, but still not bad! Chocolate cake and lime and condensed milk tart were both solid. Tarta de queso and carrot cake were fine. The batido seemed to be quite popular, so guessing that's quite good. Will definitely be back if we're ever around!

Yelp
Good restaurant where to have lunch. From their menu, I had a Grapzacho with (tomatoes,) beetroot and watermelon as entrée and a beef steak. Both dishes were good and the chocolate cake as dessert was rather good as well. The service is efficient but a little bit cold.

Yelp
We ate at Restaurant Momo since that was recommended for the 3 course meal. Our dinner was 16 euros per person. Dinner was a great value since my husband and I were really full after the appetizer! Service was okay, not that great. Food wasn't bad for the price. Appetizers: 1) Couscous with berries, tomatoes, and cucumbers - We didn't need to dress the salad because there was enough flavors from the berries. The berries were smaller blackberries. 2) Soybean soup with cod and spinach - Lots of veggies with small pieces of cod. It was a hearty soup. Main Entree: 1) Salmon cerviche with mango, avocado, and mandarin oranges - This was pretty good! Had nice flavors with the fruits and the fish. 2) Pork with goat cheese and apples Dessert: 1) Carrot cake - This was really dense cake, but wasn't buttery. 2) Lemon pie - Lots of lemon flavor in the cream/mousse. It wasn't a typical lemon pie from Marie's Calendar. Credit cards accepted. For dinner, the restaurant opens at 9pm.

Yelp
Momo is a definite must when you visit Madrid. In addition to the cute neighbourhood, the restaurant is AMAZING. We had a party of 8 who ate at Momo. We all ordered different dishes, and they were all amazing! Really great dishes with a fair price. We left the restaurant very satisfied. We will definitely return again before we leave Madrid.

Yelp
Momo is a really solid bargain in Chueca. Serving a fixed price 18 euro dinner menu -- you can't really go wrong in this home-cooking place. The owner was very friendly and his staff were extremely helpful in guiding us to some delicious dishes on their menu. They also have half liter bottles of wine on the menu which is perfect for two to split. I enjoyed eating risotto and pork for my two dishes -- and they were quite yummy. I'd highly recommend Momo.

Yelp
I went to this restaurant with some friends for dinner and all the plates were just blah, and for 14 euros per person I would have expected a bit more. This review was written in 2007.
