The food was just, so incredibly good that no other word can describe, amazing. And the wait for the food was quick! The servers were super funny and awesome. The atmosphere felt like a big meet with your uncles and cousins. I loved this place very very much, definitely going back.

Some of the most delicious fish in the country and Costa Rica has some of the best tasting food I've tried on the planet. Iceland and Costa Rica are my two top countries with the best tasting food so far! The staff is super friendly. They handed us a banner, a flag and dressed our heads with hats for a picture to remember our visit! They had a live band and brought the guests onto the dance floor with the band! If you want a unique experience, delicious authentic food with lively welcoming locals, then come visit Host Minor, our most gracious host for a memorable dining event! PURA VIDA!!! =D

The restaurant looks quite nice, and the dishes are presented appetizingly, but unfortunately, the taste leaves much to be desired. The meat was cooked with an excessive amount of fat, which ruined the experience. The only tasty dish was the salmon carpaccio, and the octopus, which unfortunately turned out to be rubbery. The chicken with rice was also tried, but it was overcooked, and the rice had no distinct flavor. As for the drinks, they were standard, without any special highlights. The espresso coffee was horrible — sour and unpleasant for coffee lovers. The service was good, but considering the price, I wouldn’t return to this restaurant. For this amount, you can find much better places with quality food and service. Recommendation: Time to change the chef! :)

Food was ok. The staff spoke English well and obviously aim for tourists. Staff seem over the top , fake nice and fake friendly but don't be fooled, they are working you up for a tip on top of the fixed 10% service charge that they add to the bill. Prices are already high for the food and I can accept that but the service charge and the agressively suggested additional 10% tip is over the top, making it 20% tip in a country where tipping is not standard. Don't accept anything off menu without knowing getting the price. "Special" cocktail of the night was more than the price of any cocktail on the menu, and was not that special. After they take your card for payment, when you ask for a copy of the bill, they all of a sudden dont understand English, say they cant give you the bill, and cant figure out how to reprint one for. Won't go again. Don't recommend.

Easy to get attracted with decoration but service wise wasn’t good. The lady attitude needs to be fix, from the approach til serving the meal with one hand on mobile listening to audios, and waiting for coffee to be served in a disgusting old metal mug, delaying coffee while chatting with her colleague. Went to pay at the counter then she SENT me back to the table to bring the bill to push me for extra tip. and it’s Expensive too. Seems like they took the mixed of tourists as granted money maker machine. So they REALLY don’t care about customer service… A place to avoid, just walk around in city center there many good restaurants to eat with good service and good price

A very welcoming restaurant that seems to scream Costa Rican Culture. We got a plate for two people but when it came it was soooooooo massive. It literally could have fed all four of us. My waitress was very cute and offered us a free photo that she took of us all wearing Costa Rican hats. She printed and gave it to us at the end at no charge! This place is a definite place to visit if need good food and servers who speak English!

It was fun, relaxing, nice band to go with a large group. We had vegetarians and vegan in our group. So, they prepared us a platter of way too much food! :) We got to try the various local dishes! It was very tasty! We ended up not being able to finish more than half and felt bad!! :( But the staff were very friendly, kind, and we had a really nice time!!
