Visited multiple times during our stay. Staff went out of their way to accommodate. Food was very good, pricing we found reasonable for dishes ordered. Kids could enjoy hamburgers or pasta.

This is the place where I got the best fish and the best seafood I have ever eat in my whole life. If you wanna enjoy fish and you wanna enjoy your seafood and eat it very fresh you have to come to this restaurant. Trust me, I grew up on the city at the sea and I eat a lot of fish. I have never tried fish like this. You must try at least one time in your life.

Super fresh ingredients, cozy atmosphere, and kind and efficient service. Fresh fish comes to your table and you can select it. Really great restaurant, to try!

Solidly four stars. The food is nice, but not amazing. The service is fine, but not great. The atmosphere is nice, but not dazzling. Onto the food specifics: the waiter said the seafood soup was cold, but it arrived piping hot! This was very average, no real essence to the stock, and it required lots of pepper and salt to bring it to life. Similarly, the grilled sea bass was well cooked but not well seasoned, so additional lemon, salt and a drizzle of olive oil was required. Worth a visit if you are staying in Salema or visiting for the day, but not worth driving from afar to try.

Amazing variety of fish dishes, great atmosphere and very friendly staff! Children’s menu has good options and the recommended wine to go with our food was excellent! Will definitely book again

A wonderful seafood oriented restaurant. The food was great, and the staff were very pleasant as well. There is nothing to point out that was negative about this place, it is one of the rare cases where the rating matched my expirience. I highly recommend this place.

We have been coming here nearly every year since 2020… every time we are in Portugal we make sure to eat here at least once. The fish is amazing.

Yes, this place is special. We chose our fish from the selection of today's catch and it was cooked to perfection. They were able to seat us even though we didn't have a reservation.

Great family run gem on the Algarve! I had one of the fresh catches of the day. My waiter brought the fresh fish of the day out on a huge platter for me to choose - but there was no way I wasn't going with his selection - and he nailed it! The red mullet was grilled to perfection! This place has an indoor dining room - and it can get chilly here in the evening. They also have an outdoor dining space - and I overheard that they offer blankets on request. Reservations are smart. The place was packed! I'm going to make mine for tomorrow night now!

I came back for the squid lourenço. I could look past the service and the lack of complaints during high season. For context, service the day before during lunch was sub par. I went again at 6pm earlier today and service as much better. I'm assuming it's because they're not inundated with families. I ordered the squid lourenço and tomato salad, two glasses of vinho verde and the passion fruit cheesecake. I love this place. It's delicious, it's simple. I cannot stop dreaming about the squid. Go, live your best life and enjoy fresh seafood- no frills. I love when the waiter/ waitress brings out the 100lb tray of fresh seafood. If they sold t-shirts, I would buy them. Make sure to make a reservation DAYS in advance. At night time, they offer blankets if you choose to sit outside. Also, don't sleep on the desserts.

This restaurant has the freshest seafood! We love the octopus, but it is all superb food here!
