Well, it's a fancy place for fancy people. It is not my kind of atmosphere. I ate here only because it was Monday, so most of the restaurants in the area were closed (because they work on Sundays, the day off for the employees is on Mondays), or because they were too full of people. And this one was the only restaurant that my wife and I found that had an empty table, and we didn't have to wait in line to have lunch.
It is expensive and very crowded. The restaurant is located in a very small place, with the tables literally glued each other; however, I have to admit, it is totally an immersion in the local culture. If you want to come to Santiago de Compostela and eat in a very touristy place, but still with local roots, then this restaurant is recommended. Of course, if you are willing to pay the price, it is expensive.
The fish scallops weren't good. I don't agree with you mixing fish with ham, and the waitress didn't understand our order, because we wanted to order the plate where six small pieces of fish scallops come in a circle; however, the waitress brought us one big fish scallop, which was cooked with ham. Too fancy for me. However, the entrecote with French fries was not bad.
