Restaurante Pizzeria Cahuita

A taste of Italy in Cahuita. The pizzas are phenomenal. I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite wine on the menu (Valpolicella). The staff is friendly. We were able to dine on the deck right by the water. Highly recommend.

Another restaurant that made us want to go back...three times. We had a variety of dishes including pizza, all were excellent. The last night we were there they seated us on the deck by the ocean. The other nights were rainy and windy and we were seated inside, which has very nice decor. If I had a single negative comment it would be about our servers not being quite as attentive as they could have been. This only happened on nights one and two. I had to go to the bar and ask them to take our drink order and then again to the bar to ask for our bill on nights one and two. The servers appeared to be having a very entertaining conversation at the bar. On night three we were well looked after especially considering the distance from the oceanside deck to the main restaurant. The pictures are from three visits. After receiving a response from the owner I am editing this review as I am always impressed by owners who respond to reviews. It shows they are engaged in their business and their customers.

Relaxing atmosphere with seats facing the ocean. A few vegan options (pasta and pizza). Good WiFi. Servers are nice. A bit on the pricy end among the options in town.

Pizza is delicious. Unless you have a beast appetite, a pizza is good to share! House red wine was good as well. The view is beautiful. 👌🏻

Amazing food with deep care for the dishes. Pizza was really good. I tried the fresh fish fillet in Livornese style, excellent. Too bad the weather was a bit gloomy, and the seaside terrace was not available …

We were really looking forward to eating here - been planning long before we arrived in Cahuita. Arrived tonight at dusk, the patio was breezy but the ocean was beautiful and the food was delicious. The problem? We felt like we were not very welcome. It was long before closing (6pm), it was a Friday night with no rain, but they were already taking tables away around us. We offered to go back into the dining area under shelter but the server said it was fine and the proceeded to usher us very quickly through ordering, didn't offer dessert or any additional drinks, and told us to pay at the desk inside. It was a bummer experience especially when the food was so good. It just didn't feel great to be there. I still would say go for the food, though!

Such a beautiful place to share a pizza and listen to the waves against the rocks and coral. They have plant based options on the menu, and we are the vegana pizza. Delicious!!

Such a beautiful place to dine. The atmosphere is very relaxing with sounds of the waves in the background. The pizza is delicious and a good size to share, even between two hungry hikers.
