Poço dos Sabores is a great dining experience. A group of us from The Royal British Club, Lisbon, dined here for lunch. Amazing food, friendly service, wonderful atmosphere. What else do you need! A love it when dining is not just a meal but an experience. The service was equivalent to a 4 or 5 star restaurant. Amazing staff. Quaint building with lots of historical charm. But the food…Oh My. Garlic shrimp appetizer was huge and tasty. The beef Wellington was tender with a wonderful sauce. We ordered a side salad and it could feed 3+ people. The chocolate cake won 1st place at the Obidos Chocolate Festival. Lots of parking behind the building. Make sure you get a reservation. It’s small and popular!

What a great place!! It’s just a very nice vibe and setting. The food was excellent. I had an Argentinian steak, and the way the server mixed the fried egg and creamy spinach tableside produced a delicious sauce for the steak. The potato’s were delicious as well. My husband got the fish special and loved it. And, everyone there was friendly and helpful.

This was the best place we ate while on vacation. So happy we discovered it. Our table of six had the prawn risotto, turbot, duck leg, beef Wellington, pork cheeks and steak with peppercorn sauce and every dish received the highest praise. Everything was tender and full of flavor. The server was welcoming and helpful and overall amazing.

The food, the owners, the atmosphere…all excellent!! We loved getting to know the lovely owners..you can tell it is a passion project of theirs to give their customers the best experience. Wonderful service. The food…wow! Every bite was delicious! The wine pairing was perfect. We encourage you to make the trip out if you are staying in Obidos…you won’t be disappointed. Make sure to to order Paula’s Awarding winning Chocolate Cake….1st prize at the Chocolate Festival. The beef cheeks were melt in your mouth tender. The mashed potatoes with truffle oil were creamy smooth.

Absolutely Fantastic Food today Daniel. I had the steak and it was beautiful. My other half had Rabbit for main. The food was outstanding the service was top ho. Such lovely and friendly Portuguese staff. Keep up the hard work. You certainly did smash it tonight.

Excellent service and quality of food as it was prepared and served by a wonderful and friendly husband and wife team. The special mushroom soup, tender shrimp appetizers were delicious. Try the home made pate, goat butter and bread with local olives with a glass of their local wine..yum, yum! The beef cheeks and octopus main courses were tender and full of flavours. If you have room for desert, their selection of home made options melted in our palates.

First, what a cute restaurant! There is an actual well in the dining area. The service was fantastic. We both had fish dishes (sea bass and turbot) and I would highly recommend them both. Fish cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I highly recommend the chocolate cake with a glass of ginjinha. You won't regret it!
