A love it when dining is not just a meal but an experience. The service was equivalent to a 4 or 5 star restaurant. Amazing staff. Quaint building with lots of historical charm. But the food…Oh My. Garlic shrimp appetizer was huge and tasty. The beef Wellington was tender with a wonderful sauce. We ordered a side salad and it could feed 3+ people. The chocolate cake won 1st place at the Obidos Chocolate Festival. Lots of parking behind the building. Make sure you get a reservation. It’s small and popular!

This was the best place we ate while on vacation. So happy we discovered it. Our table of six had the prawn risotto, turbot, duck leg, beef Wellington, pork cheeks and steak with peppercorn sauce and every dish received the highest praise. Everything was tender and full of flavor. The server was welcoming and helpful and overall amazing.

The food, the owners, the atmosphere…all excellent!! We loved getting to know the lovely owners..you can tell it is a passion project of theirs to give their customers the best experience. Wonderful service. The food…wow! Every bite was delicious! The wine pairing was perfect. We encourage you to make the trip out if you are staying in Obidos…you won’t be disappointed. Make sure to to order Paula’s Awarding winning Chocolate Cake….1st prize at the Chocolate Festival. The beef cheeks were melt in your mouth tender. The mashed potatoes with truffle oil were creamy smooth.

The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and they have an English menu. There are plenty of appetizers to choose from, and you can see them before ordering. The chef was exceptionally kind and even made me a dish from a different seasonal menu 🥰

Marvelous find. Bacana . Worth seeking out. The food was amazing, comforting, variety, delicious. Great risotto, fantástica fish , tender slow-cooked pork and duck. Top-notch server. Good building too, with parking. Dessert is a whole separate review.

Fantastic food and service. An excellent and uncommon wine list. Ample parking in the back. We enjoyed the excellent roasted pork cheeks this visit, but plan to return soon for the cataplana. Herson was a skilled and welcoming server with a thorough knowledge of the wine list.

The food was really delicious. We have been welcomed so well, the service and food are a 5 stars. we have been on holidays just 1 week but went to this restaurant 2 timeS. We really recommend it.

First, what a cute restaurant! There is an actual well in the dining area. The service was fantastic. We both had fish dishes (sea bass and turbot) and I would highly recommend them both. Fish cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I highly recommend the chocolate cake with a glass of ginjinha. You won't regret it!
