"Find the best view in the city by heading out to Restaurante Ponto Final. It has excellent traditional Portuguese food, but there's one catch: You have to take a ferry to get there. But, again, you'll be rewarded with a stellar view of Lisbon from just across the bridge." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. The ambience is beautiful, especially with the lovely seating next to the sea. The servers were nice and very friendly, but be prepared to wait I waited 20 minutes before we were served and another hour before our food arrived. The food is very good, though my veal steak was a bit too salty. Despite the wait, it's definitely worth a visit as a tourist. It made my trip to Lisbon more memorable.

Gorgeous location and that is it. Sketchy to get to at night. Service is in shambles, even though the staff speaks great English. Tables way too close to each other. Shrimps were really fresh and good the rest of the fish pretty mid. The rice was my favorite part and that was also not outstanding. I would recommend coming to the bar next door for a drink during sundet instead. Also if you are coming in the evening please be careful there are no street lamps and there are a lot of holes in the street. Also a lot of shit on the way, that I stepped into. Just a heads up!

After seeing this place on Netflix, we had to come try it. We absolutely loved it! The service was amazing and everything we ate was so delicious!! Can’t wait to come back on our next visit to Lisbon.

A Hidden Gem in Lisbon! I recently dined at Ponto Final, and I can confidently say it was one of the highlights of my trip to Lisbon! Nestled along the riverbank with breathtaking views of the city, this charming restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal, with a cozy yet vibrant vibe that captures the essence of Lisbon. We snagged a table on the terrace, and the view over the river was simply magical. Now, let’s talk about the food! The menu features a delightful mix of traditional Portuguese dishes and fresh seafood, all prepared with incredible care and flavor. I highly recommend the grilled sardines—they were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The octopus salad was another standout, bursting with fresh ingredients and a tangy dressing that complemented the dish beautifully. Ponto Final is truly a must-visit for anyone in Lisbon. The combination of delicious food, stunning views, and excellent service makes it a dining experience to remember. I can’t wait to return on my next visit to this beautiful city!

Peculiar location, marvellous scenery. And with some sun and a blue sky our lunch was perfect! Make a reservation otherwise you can wait long . The food is traditional Portuguese and delicious! Excellent service!

Tucked away in a former industrial area, this hidden gem boasts a unique location on the edge of the Tangus River, offering breathtaking views of Lisbon. The setting is a fascinating contrast to the usual tourist spots, and the food is equally good. We savored the traditional grilled sardines, salmon, and pork ribs, all of which were delicious and generously portioned. However, the service fell short of our expectations. Despite the stunning location and excellent cuisine, our experience was marred by long wait times and a mistake with our order. Unfortunately, one of our party members was left without a proper lunch when their dish was forgotten and arrived after the rest of us had finished. With some improvement in service, this special place could truly shine.

Incredible food and views. We had starters and mains and we couldn’t finish the mains as the portions are so generous! The service was impeccable, the wine excellent and the whole atmosphere just 10/10. We made the reservation via email and went mid October and there was still a considerable queue but we were seated right away, so just make the reservation and there shouldn’t be any waiting. Hands down this was our favourite dinner in Lisbon!

Delicious food 😋 the marinated sardines and the cod were something out of this world. So tasty and full of flavors. We went on a cold December day, so it was kind of freezing compared to the rest of Lisbon, so if you want to sit outside make sure to wear enough layers 🙌🏼
