A very special place! A remodeled old traditional house in the middle of an old village, done beautifully. Cosy rooms, Cosy restaurant, good food, good wines. We spend the most wonderful days with family. The adults loved it and so did the kids. A place to return for sure. If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life, just come here and experience the traditional village, and la Posada Casa de la Sal. Superb days!!

My husband and I stayed here overnight last night and I must write a review right now because this is just such a wonderful hidden gem in an fantastic authentic village. On our arrival our host could not have been more helpful and welcoming in spite of our language barrier and helped us up to our beautiful and tasteful suite. Absolutely superb accommodation and enormous super king size bed ensured an exceptionally good night’s sleep after a superb meal in a locally recommended restaurant. Breakfast was included in the €90 tariff (unusual for Spain) and was excellent. Cannot recommend this bijou accommodation enough - that says it all!

Casa de la Sal iis the most charming and quaint boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The service was impeccable and the staff was excellently attentive. The owner, Alberto, was very helpful with and knowledgeable about the places and cities we wanted to visit. The breakfast at Casa was very good and the dinners were spectacular. Do yourself a favor. Stay at Casa de la Sal and let Alberto be your tour guide. You will remember the experience as your favorite vacation ever. I do.

A charming hotel in a charming town. Full of character. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. One of the best hotel beds I've slept on. And the man at reception, Luis, even washed our cycling kit for us (we're on a cycling tour). Highly recommended!

We stayed in this charming hotel about 4 years ago and had a wonderful time. This Christmas, my wife booked a weekend as a present for my in laws and us to stay for a weekend in February. A couple of days before we were due to arrive, one of the owners rang and started quizzing us in an extremely rude fashion regarding the booking (it had been made on Booking.com). Whe he learned that our 3 year old daughter would accompany us (we have a travel cot), he completely lost the plot saying that children couldn't be catered for. As the rudeness increased we cut him off and contacted Booking.com who kindly cancelled the reservation without penalty. SO please be wary of this place if you are travelling with young kids, or if the normally polite owner is having a bad day.

Loved staying in this little piece of heaven. Luis is a wonderful host. We especially loved our breakfast here, after a solid night's rest on a super comfortable bed. Would absolutely return.

Are you looking for sometning different, stylish on the Bejar Mountains? All the hotels and B&B you find look horrible? Well, you have find the place.||It is not a cheap lodging (some nearby hotels and houses are cheaper) but afer been hosted i can't say is expensive (I paid 78 euros with breakfast).||This B&B is comfortable and beautiful option in the -probably- most beautiful village of the mountains (Candelario). It is an old house completely redecored with and amazing style.||The landlords are nice, everything is very clean and the included breakfast is huge and really tasty.||Less than 5 km away you'll find Bejar, the El Bosque historical garden, you can climb the mountains... a good option for a different weekend.||Reccomended.|
