Restaurante Rincón del Marinero

We have discovered this gem of a restaurant too late - on our last day! Otherwise we would have eaten here everyday. The freshest and tastiest seafood I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and always served with a smile. The service is the best on the island and the prices are very fair. We loved it! The next time we come to Tenerife, we will be eating here again! We would highly recommend it.

Passed this place so many times over the years and never called in! Well this time we called in and we were not disappointed, food and service were fantastic. Well worth a visit.

Such gorgeous fresh seafood, amazing service and waiter who was attentive and helpful too. Would highly recommend trying this place. We asked for a recommendation of white fish and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Seafood paella bursting with seafood and the vegetables (not on the menu but they cooked for us as requested) were perfect as well!!

In this restaurant I ate the best fish in the world. I have not eaten such delicious fresh well-prepared fish anywhere outside my country. Fresh, delicious, no bad fat. The fish is the best, delicate, smelling of freshness. Delicious shrimps. Delicious salad, my husband got extra garlic and onion for the fish, pach as excellent. Great service, a huge plus for being a person who communicates well in English. I am delighted and my sensitive stomach felt very light after this food. I forgot to add potatoes and delicious sauces. I recommend it, we will go there again before we leave. 20/10 definitely go there 🍽️👍🏼🙏🏻👌🏼👌🏼

Very disappointing experience. When we arrived, one of the waiters asked us to wait a minute while he found a table for us, which was fine. After we were seated, another server came over and started speaking Spanish. I told him that we only speak English. He replied in English saying something like “this is a local restaurant,” dropped the menus on the table, and walked away. The attitude was rude and unprofessional, and it made us feel completely unwelcome. We decided to leave without ordering anything. If you work in hospitality, basic courtesy toward customers should be the minimum.

We were looking forward to our fish supper here, but it wasn’t to be. After looking at the menu, I asked what the seafood and fish grill actually contained. “It’s delicious,” said the waiter, “the best thing on the menu – three items.” I never found out what these were! My wife then asked for salmon and he suddenly looked worried, so we assumed he went to check availability. Another waiter returned, who I suspect was the manager, and told us the seafood and fish grill was only served at lunchtime! Our meal eventually arrived. The fish was good, but the chips were soggy. We chatted with the neighbouring table and their verdict was “Fawlty Towers dining.” At the table on the other side someone ordered the house white wine – “Sorry sir, we don’t have white wine!” We were disappointed and can only assume they were having a bad night, as Rincon de Marinero has so many good reviews.

The food in this restaurant is so delicious that you will faint! Authentic Caribbean cuisine. Very nice atmosphere. The portio ns are large, you can easily share them between two people. Beautiful presentation of dishes and friendly waiters. I would like to express my special gratitude for the help and attentive attitude provided to me.

Proper Spanish seafood restaurant with Spanish chefs and Spanish waiters.. the food is amazing and the service is personal.. this is a proper restaurant with real food cooked by real people

Excellent seafood! We had a local fish with Canarian potatoes, some greens and mojos. The fish is fresh, you can pick it from a tank inside the restaurant. Totally delicious, clear recommendation.
