Restaurante Riquísimo

I was craving a Mexican style breakfast. I searched for Ranchero breakfast in Google Maps near my location. Out of all of the competitors, I liked the reviews about the service and a similar dish posted in a review. This meal did not disappoint. It was full of flavor and the eggs were cooked just right. I’m grateful that they allowed me to sit and read after my breakfast. I could get use to this Pura Vida lifestyle.

This was our first meal during our puerto viejo stay and it was our favorite! What a great welcome to the area! The food was top notch and the price for what we got compared to others in the area was the best value in our opinion. I wanted to visit more than once but with a short stay it wasn’t possible. It will absolutely be our first stop the next time we visit though!

One of the best meals I had in Costa Rica. The food is amazing, and the juices out of the world. I loved both the Casado, super tasty, and the passion fruit juice, it was ice cold and super nice.

This used to be my favorite place in Puerto, but they have lowered their quality since covid. Myself and three other people in my group all got food poisoning from the coconut curry chicken. When we informed them of this the next day, they didn't seem to care. All the other food is not as good as it used to be. I do like how they added a full bar and improved the bathrooms.

Excellent food + great price ! Going there every morning :) My favorite Spicy Breakfast : Gallo Pinto + Huevos Rancheros = 2500c + Hiel ( spicy plants drink ) 1400c Also try the Guayabana Juice All day they are serving the special and very good chicken rice for 2600

This was the first spot we ate at in puerto viejo. It was so good we came back so it would be our last. Can’t go wrong with any choice. The people are nice and the place is very clean too.

We had arroz con pollo and arroz con mariscos, both were unfortunately a little bit too dry. Taste was not bad, but not that special. We‘ll come another time to try other dishes which looked better ;)

Good food, fun location (right on highway), large portions, and good prices ($5-$8 dinner plate). They have some interesting choices, including this chicken with coconut curry. Not pictured is "girl" which is a drink with ginger in it. Interesting, but probably not a favorite for many (kinda burns).
