Places like this are why we travel! Good variety in the menu, well prepared and presented food. Skilled barkeep. But most of all, accommodating staff. We met our favorite person in Milfontes here!

Had a table outside, service was very attentive. We had visited the night before just for a glass of wine but ended up having the Sticky Toffee Pud as well and after that had to revisit to try the main menu. It didn’t disappoint, we had the prawn curry and the Grouper with a side of veg. Well worth the return visit. Also another helping of sticky toffee puds with honeycomb icecream that was so creamy. We also had a bottle of the Douro reserva, very smooth.

Disappointing experience. The place was recommended to us by a local and we immediately got a seat by walking by. That was really great. Also the kitchen was open around 6 pm. However, the service was not very customer friendly, wanting to take away a plate while that person was still eating and removing all other plates. Also, the food quality was not that great. The hamburger meat tasted like it was a few days old, lying around at room temperature and the sirloin steak was quite chewy due to tendons. The chimichurri tasted too strongly of vinegar and did not have the original taste. The prawns in the curry were good, but the curry resembled a curcuma explosion. A bit too much. Overall, no place for us to visit again.

Stumble upon this restaurant. Loved it so much we went back twice in a row. I’d say the best in Vila nova We had the chuletón steak on the bone which was incredible. Highly recommend although a little pricey ! The ink linguine with shrimps & clams are amazing too. The burger is also incredible very juicy and tatsty with delicious fries. Ahhh !!! the fries are to die for which says a lot about a restaurant !! Service was efficient and very professional. It’s busy in there so book or go there early.

Nice tapas bar Booking a table is strongly recommended. Great food and great service. And that's most important from my point of view. It's a warm atmosphere inside and you'll feel very welcomed. The food I had was delicious.

We've spent one night in that tiny village and found this restaurant occasionally. At first I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting fish and Portuguese quisine. In stead I've read goreng and burgers. But! The tapas were pretty much excellent as well as the regional wine Service was relaxed and good. We had beetroot humous, beetroot salad, scallops,bruschetta and padron pepper. For starters they brought cheese and olives- both very nice

We sat outside, after completing the Fishermans Trail leg from Porto Covo. Despite our backpack, easy looks, we were welcomed and served with welcome arms, and efficiency. Bread and cheese started us off, and it was delicious. I ordered the curry, and my husband, the black noodles and prawns. Both were spectacular! Highly recommended!

Nice place in the center of Vila Nova de Milfontes with a wide variety of fusion food. Great atmosphere and very high quality food. Apart from some fancy fusion food (Italian, Japanese, Malay, Indonesian, etc.) they also have some great burgers and steaks! My favorite is Mango Prawn Curry. Amazing!! For starter try their croquetes. Bom apetite!!!

The food here is amazing! So fresh. So flavorful. I could not stop looking at other people's food, it all looked so good!! The scallops were my favorite, cooked to perfection in garlic! And the couscous salad was so light and delicious, mostly greens but loaded with other flavorful ingredients. So good! I only wish we were here longer so I could go back to try more. Make a reservation because it gets crowded. Great service, beautiful decor.

Found this busy tapas restaurant along one of the quaint streets in old town Vila Nova de Milfontes. Arrived at 9pm and it was packed with locals and tourists. Very trendy looking place with lots of atmosphere. I ordered Black linguini with shrimps and clams, which was delicious! My daughter, Sara had a craving for steak and decided on a grilled steak with house fries (more like potato chips) cooked medium. The steak was a disappointment as it was so tough. The saving grace for her were the house 'fries' which were crispy and flavourful. We should have ordered some tapas but were already overloaded with many tapas meals on our road trip through Spain and Portugal. Ritual also had a selection of Indonesian Fried Rice and Noodle dishes and Pad Thai noodles - not sure about the inspiration to have these on the menu as they seemed out of place.
