Restaurante Russes Gastrobar

Great food! Tasty and with a good mix of ingredients. I’ll come back to try more dishes from the menu.

We were trying to get a table in this place for 3 days, because we have heard good reviews. Both days we were told that without reservation we can’t get a table, whereas the restaurant was half empty. On the third day we have managed to book a table. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the food. We have ordered 4 different dishes and none of them was good - too many flavours mixed together and just was strange. 2 dishes I was struggling to eat…. I usually like gastrobars and fusion cuisine; but this particular one didn’t impress me at all. We ate much better in another restaurants of Aracena. My apologies to the chef of Russes but that’s just my personal experience. I don’t know if we selected the dishes bad or just had a bad luck, however, I would not recommend this place. In my opinion is overrated.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic meal. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, with a range of flavors and textures that truly delighted my taste buds. The service was also exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making for a perfect evening out with friends or family. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with my dining experience and can't wait to go back!

Smart little bar, with tasty food options and all reasonably priced.

On a night when most of the restaurantes in town were closed we chanced upon Russes and what a wonderful discovery. The restaurant itself is bright and modern in style with none of the tired traditional Spanish decor. The food is best described a "new wave Spanish cooking" and obviously prepared and presented with great care and attention. Thought has been put into a distinctive menu with the old favourites given a new twist. We were not planning to visit Aracena on our next visit to the province but on our basis of our last visit to Russes we will certainly make a detour to go back to Russes- absolutely first class.

Fingerlicking good, quality regional ingredientes with a original twist and beautiful presentation. Extremely tasty! Green gazpacho and patatas bravas are very recomendable and the staff was indeed very attentive and friendly, even though it was busy.

Great dinner. Tapas are excellent and creative. Meat is well prepared. Staff is nice. Go without any doubt.
