The only reason this experience doesn’t earn a full five stars is the service—because when it comes to the food, this restaurant delivers excellence on every plate.
We stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered modestly: the crispy pork and the seabass with meat sauce. Both dishes were superb. The ingredients were evidently of high quality, each element thoughtfully paired to create a balance of flavor and texture that spoke to the chef’s precision and palate. Even with a limited tasting, it was clear that this kitchen understands harmony and restraint.
Unfortunately, the service fell short of the same standard. Despite the restaurant being relatively quiet—no more than four tables occupied—the staff took a surprisingly long time to take our order, forgot our wine entirely, and ultimately left us to walk up to the counter to settle the bill ourselves.
It’s a shame, because the culinary experience deserves to be matched by seamless hospitality. Still, I would gladly return for the food alone—it’s that good. With more attentive service, this could easily be one of the city’s standout dining experiences.
