Restaurante Sheriff Rustic

We stayed in Samara Beach for about 3 days and we visited Restaurante Sheriff Rustic every day. We loved the food and the staff were incredibly friendly, they were joyful and made us feel so welcome! The view was the cherry on top.

We were very hungry and walked from beach spot to spot and this one smelled great and was hoppin’ so we looked at the menu and the prices were super reasonable for beach front so we took a seat and ordered ceviche and a couple beers and a hamburger with fries for our 4 year old little girl. The food came quickly and was delicious! The atmosphere was fun beach bar vibes and the staff was very friendly and checked on us often. We may have to go back tomorrow night even though we’re only here 3 nights we enjoyed our time that much.

You can't beat this location however felt the menu was a real disappointment. Not much to choose from and very basic. Went for breaky and it tasted fine, server was fine, location excellent. Quick glance at lunch menu just showed various forms of hamburgers...maybe I missed something. I would go back however based on the location alone.

The restaurant’s greatest asset is its perfect beachfront view, providing a wonderful backdrop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner after a day in the water. The service is generally described as good and quick, with staff attending to diners’ needs. While the prime location means prices may be slightly higher than some other local spots, most patrons feel the quality, atmosphere, and amazing view make it well worth the price.

Great food at a great price (for Samara at least). Their ceviche is one of my favorite things I ate all trip. We ate there twice on our one week trip because of that ceviche. Our favorite things were: Fish ceviche, the Casado with the whole Snapper, the fish fillet and shrimp in white sauce (soooo good) and the camarones al ajillo. Also, the spot has a perfect view of the beach. Great location for lunch or dinner after playing in the water.

Our group of 10 had a variety of dishes and all the meals were very good. The location on the beach provides a great atmosphere. The only drawback was the pricing of the wine.

One of the few restaurants where you would eat well well and not break the bank. It is located right by the beach. Great view and atmosphere. Friendly servers and the food is great. They didn't even charge us for the extra rice and beans we requested.

Beachfront dining is a treat for my wife and me, when we visit Samara, and, among the various available options, we have decided that this casual, moderately-priced restaurant is one of our favorites. Our food and beverages every visit (beer, cocktails, fish fillets, and spaghetti with shrimp during two visits during late March and early April) have excellent and ample, and we have enjoyed good service. Also: we have perceived during each of our visits that some of our fellow diners have been local people - not tourists only - which we judge to be a commendation.
