Absolutely gorgeous food in Nazaré! The fish was fresh and delicious, prepared with real care. Service was excellent, warm, and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, just as the board outside says: “If you are in a hurry, do not come in.” Fresh food takes time — and here, it didn't take to long but for our food always worth the wait for a meal like this!

One of the best restaurants I did in Portugal ! Food is exceptionally delicious and flavors are unique. Best dish is the sliced tuna! Prices are generally acceptable and the staff very friendly. A reservation is needed.

Great-tasting, great-quality food presented in creative ways. A feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Nice setting, with seating inside or outside. Sitiado is the best restaurant in Sitio de Nazaré—well worth coming here.

All the variety of dishes are sharing size and are delicious. Service by Diana is great.

This is according to my experience the only really good eatery in the upper part of the city of Nazaré. They have a very interesting tapas menu including numerous vegetarian options and their selection of wines by the glass, although restricted, is of excellent quality, so good I came back for a second round a couple of days after my initial visit the first Tuesday of January 2025. The staff is sympathetic and gives you good advice whatever you are inquiring about. Good value for money. Highly recommended

What a great little restaurant- the food was really great and good value. Service was great. Didn’t expect a lot for good food in Nazaré but this place blew my mind. Would highly recommend

Great burger in bolo do caco, tasty fries. The tuna looked great as well. The chocolate dessert is literally melting on your tongue, loved how chocolatey it was. Nice and polite service. The only thing that could be improved is the furniture. The tables are quite low for tall people, while the bench is quite high.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We shared 3 plates for the two of us- three regional dishes elegantly prepared and quite delicious. Perfect afternoon treat! We highly recommend the pork.

Yelp
Wow! Super fresh octopus and fish, well prepared. Cold octopus salad was some of the best we've ever had, and the patarhoxa was quite flavorful. Wonderful bread to go with the latter. Arugula salad with burrata cheese was nice as well. Server was pleasant, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Not a place to visit if u r in a hurry!

Yelp
Superb. Found this place in Rick Steve's guidebook, and Yelp reviews sealed the deal. We came for lunch, and thankfully got there early for a table. Consider a reservation. Small space but inviting. First table on the right is under the a/c, which on a very warm September day was appreciated. Owner is a wonderful guy, and we asked him to recommend a Portuguese white wine for our seafood. He nailed it. Note that this is a tapas place, so plan accordingly. We split every plate, so the shrimp is going to have 8 or 10 medium-sized crustaceans. The garlic and butter "broth" was delicious. My favorite was the clams. Just tender and flavorful!! Order a side of bread and soak up the broth with zero shame! The shabby fries are wonderful, too. Cheers! RS

Yelp
This was one of our favorite meals while on our Portugal vacation. The tapas style dishes were very creative, we loved that they put a modern spin on traditional Portuguese dishes. The tapas servings allowed us to try a lot of different dishes. We loved the cirtrus burrata salad, the clams, and the steak as well. They have a wonderful selection of very reasonably priced Portuguese wines by the bottle or by the glass. It is located in the Sitio neighborhood of Nazare, it makes for a fun evening excursion to take the furnicular up from Nazare, walk around the neighborhood and then end up there for dinner. It is a very small, cozy restaurant and it fills up fast so make a reservation if you want to check it out. If you are in Nazare, I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Right at the top end of the funicular. Amazing food... atmosphere is very nice as well. We had the Atún Braseado, Pan y patata's fritas. Don't forget to order the Tonic and Port wine mix. Amazing. Service May take its time, but that's what quality costs.

Yelp
This restaurant is fantastic. Casual and cool. I ordered the mussels and octopus salad. Everything was delicious+

Yelp
This restaurant is located very close at the top of the funicular. It's not really a restaurant so much as a tapas style eatery. You choose a few items to share from a limited menu. While we were there we saw people eating dishes that weren't on the menu which was a bit confusing. We ordered the potato skins, calamari and garlic steak. They all tasted pretty good. I was surprised at all of the raving reviews as I thought it was just okay.

Yelp
The location of this restaurant is quiet pitoresque with a very nice view. We were nicely welcomed with a quick service. The restaurant itself is very cozy. It 's a nice concept: tapas but still typical Portuguese recipes. The advantage was we could taste every dish. And every dish was really delicious! Everything was served swiftly. We even only paid 112 euros for 8 people, including drinks. I recommend to have your meal here!

Yelp
The food was very good but the service was very very slow. We were the last to order from the 7pm customers and we waited 1.5 hours for the main part of the food. We had prawns, fried mushrooms, steak and potato skin crisp/chips and chorizo and we were very full up at the end!!! The restaurant itself though is very quirky and as such there is a relaxed ambience inside. I would recommend biking as whilst we were eating there were many many people turned away for tables.

Yelp
Everything we ate was very good, nothing completely knocked my socks off (my fiancé would beg to differ and thought the cod/potato/onion casserole was life-changing). Great atmosphere, very reasonable prices for high quality food. If you plan to eat dinner on European time (9pm or later) you will need a reservation, if you show up at American dinner time (7) you will probably be fine as long as you're cool with the expectation that you vacate the table for the 9pm reservation set. All in all a really lovely restaurant that might be mind blowing depending on what you order.

Yelp
No idea why they have a low rating have been there 3 times with a big group, service was always fast and friendly, food always delicious. Best meals I have had in Nazare
