The food was really delicious and the spread was quite amazing! There were a lot of options and all of them seemed quite tasty! We had an amazing dinner and if you’re hungry, this is the best place to go!

Google
Pretty decent vegetarian food. Not the best and not wildly creative but fresh enough ingredients and sufficient variety. There are some Italian options, salads, kiches, fruits, a soup and more. A number of bean dishes, which is great, can also be found. Sit outside if weather permits.

This place was perfect, after catching the 28 tram, we jumped off. A 5-10 minute walk up a few colourful streets! The staff welcomed us to their shaded outdoor seating. The various colours and food textures complemented each other so well, there wasn’t one thing I was in happy with. A soup to beggin, followed by 2 plates of joy. A full belly, and a satisfied costumer! 😍 A major plus was recycled placemats and 0 straws!

Google
Tasty vegetarian dishes in a atmospheric and traditional feeling restaurant. It's a 'all you can eat' style buffet excluding drinks and desserts. Self-service, so tuck in and don't be shy. The waiters in there were friendly enough and quick to replenish plates and serve drinks etc. It was a shame that nothing is labelled, so you don't know what you're eating until you try it! Reasonable prices and lots of options to choose from, would definitely recommend this place.

Google
Great quality buffet! So there is not a lot of variety, however what they have is pretty amazing! Great cosy exterior place (non smoking). The price for the lunch buffet on the weekend is 16€ but during the week it is cheaper. I recommend the vegetarian “bacalhau” à Brás.

Google
Great selection of vegetarian and vegan food l, buffet style, 'all you can eat'. Food is healthy and tasty and staff friendly. Tea and pudding of the day is included in lunch 12,50€ each

Food was tasty and the service was good. Decor theme and music are an odd match. Big problem was we were overcharged. Should have paid weekday prices, but instead they charged us weekend prices. Did not question the cost at first, but we really should have. Only realised once we got back to our hotel. Not sure if we were taken advantage of because we're polite tourists, but it's a shame, I would have rated much higher. People should be treated equally, no matter your background.

Google
The food is amazing, even though the space between tables wasa bit short, but nonetheless, it's a great place to visit.

Yelp
Ironically, we were actually trying to find a different restaurant that was above this one in the same building and accidentally went to this one instead, but I'm so glad that we did. Terra is a buffet style vegetarian place and it was really good! There was a lot of awesome dishes and the staff is super friendly, I really enjoyed chatting with them. There's a cute outdoor seating area with large trees that cover the patio. There's also definitely an almost Indian/eastern influence to some of their dishes, which was great because I love those types of flavors. Some of the dishes they had were couscous, some type of curry dish, and vegetarian pizza. If you're vegetarian, this is a great option! They also have really good desserts as well.

Yelp
This restaurant was great. We went on a sort of family reunion trip to Lisbon recently, with nearly 20 vegetarians. One of my biggest concerns about the trip was finding decent restaurants with vegetarian options and this was such a great option. We reserved on trip advisor for 7:30 and were seated promptly. The buffet was replenished (several times just because of us, so sorry to the other diners) frequently and the food was fresh, diverse, and delicious. As others have mentioned it felt a little pricey as compared to other places in Lisbon and the buffet feels a bit random (no specific theme to the food) but they were so accommodating and everyone in our group was satisfied. The desserts were also appreciated - I especially loved the tiramisu!

Yelp
Don't understand why this place are getting so many vegetarians coming to their spot - perhaps, and most likely, because it is really difficult to be vegetarian in Lisbon and this may be the least bad of all options. Well that's my opinion. Went for buffet lunch for 16 Euro, excluding drinks. The buffet looked poor with salad leafs that felt they've been sitting there for ours, although I was early coming in at 1 PM. They offered different hot and cold dishes, many of them that seemed really unhealthy and greasy - not something I'd expect at a restaurant that have positioned themselves as a good vegetarian option. The taste then? I'd say plain. It just didn't taste much at all, none of the options. I felt like it didn't even matter that my plate suffered from buffet syndrome with everything blended together in the middle of the plate because it didn't taste anything anyway. They won't see me back here, that I can reassure. Particularly given the price I paid with water and coffee; 20 Euros.

Yelp
Decent vegetarian and vegan buffet. Not as good as Da Terra in Porto but food was fresh and tasty And the back patio is a plus.

Yelp
As a Vegetarian this is one of the best Vegetarian restaurants in Lisboa! It is well decorated and really mediterranean stylized. It recently won its place on the top 50 restaurants in Lisboa. The food there is brilliant, it consists of a huge buffet that you can eat whatever you want! The prices are quite good as well, since it is quality food and you can eat whatever you like! For lunch it is around 9,90EUR and for dinner is 13EUR, which by my books isn't that bad! The staff is very friendly and help you on whatever you might want! Usually when I go to a Vegetarian restaurant here in Portugal you have a funny smell associated to it, I don't know why but I tend to notice on those details, and you can almost smell that it is a dietetic restaurant one of those that people go to get skinny and healthy, you know? But I was really surprise by Terra when I noticed that they don't have that smell! :) If you want to be in a calm place, enjoy good food and be really next to Lisbon center (specially Bairro Alto) then you have to drop in Terra! All good Vibes on there!

Yelp
Perfect romantic & leafy garden to eat in. Delicious variety of vegetarian dishes - some surprising, all good & fresh.

Yelp
This restaurant was fine. The outdoor patio out back is a beautiful setting for a meal. I went to the dinner buffet. Service was just alright, and the food was good enough. The vegetables tended to be overcooked. The fresh salads were good with interesting ingredients like beets & kiwi, but there were no vinaigrettes. The hot entree-style dishes were fine, but unseasoned. The apple crumble dessert was not very good. Overcooked apples and the "crumble" was just dry flour and cinnamon. The raspberry sorbet was excellent though! Creamy & flavorful. If you want to eat vegan food in a lovely setting, come here, but don't expect really good food.

Yelp
A bit pricier than expected after being Portugal for a week but the food was absolutely amazing and worth it

Yelp
OKAY WOW ~ You do not need to be a vegetarian to enjoy this restaurant. The service is off the chain, the atmosphere is pleasantly relaxing, and the buffet is so good that you will want to eat more than you paid for. I am typically someone who never orders any meal from a restaurant without some sort of meat, but I wasn't missing it whatsoever with the amazing lunch I had here today. The staff went out of their way to be friendly, helpful with everything on the menu, and to give us a lovely experience. Would recommend to anyone!

Yelp
On my first day is Lisbon I learned that Google Maps is not very up to date when it comes to restaurants. Quite a few restaurants do not have their opening hours on Google or a website or phone number. After two of the restaurants were not there at all and a couple more were closed I got to Terra, one of the oldest vegetarian restaurants of Lisbon. There is a delicious buffet and although the restaurant wasn't vegan, the staff was more than happy to tell me what was. There is a beautiful and peaceful terrace in the backyard and the food is delicious. The best thing was definitely the staff though. They all spoke perfect English, were up for a chat and help me practice my Portuguese. Although I felt there were lots of vegan options, one of the waiters came out with a seitan schnitzel they made for me because they felt there weren't enough options for me. The buffet is about €15,00 a person, which is not cheap for a buffet in Lisbon. But the beautiful terrace, the quality of the food and the lovely staff made it great value for money. Pros: Heart warming staff, beautiful and peaceful terrace, healthy and varied food

Yelp
One of the oldest vegetarian restaurants in Lisboa and one of our favorites. Delicious food buffet and a beautiful patio seating area outback shaded by leafy trees. For the most options go for dinner or on a weekend and regular weekday lunch has limited (but still plenty of) options.

Yelp
Excellent food and fantastic vibes in this place. My wife and were visiting from the states and walked from Avenida Palace to this restaurant. It was a bit of an adventure finding the place- not that it is difficult to find per se, just kind feels tucked away in some residential area. Right when we almost started to doubt that we were going the right way, out the place pops! All the food at the dinner buffet was super. The seating is somewhat communal on the patio but everyone there was very cool, including the other patrons. Go here.

Yelp
We checked out this restaurant on the very first day in town. We wanted to find vegetarian food without the hassle of decoding menu so we picked this place. They had an excellent buffet with variety of items and drink of the day and dessert of the day was included in the buffet. We both enjoyed the food and I thought the service was just OK. However when we left my husband forgot his wallet and the server came running behind with my husband's card, few minutes later. We were very grateful for that and would recommend the food and service without hesitation :)

Yelp
**nice atmosphere - okay food** I am always happy to find a vegetarian restaurant and this was not always easy in Portugal (except here in Lisbon). Thumbs up for that :) The atmosphere in the outside area is really nice and relaxing - we were very happy to get a spot at the patio (without reservation). // 5 stars The service was good and the waiters were friendly. Moreover, we got a good wine recommendation. They also seemed to be aligned well, even though we had 3 different waiters during our stay. // 4 stars The food was okay, but did not meet my expectations considering the price of 16€/ Person for an all you can eat buffet (expensive considering Portuguese price levels in general and other restaurant prices in particular). // 3-4 stars I would recommend going there if if you are in the area, but make sure to sit at the patio and get some wine! ;-)

Yelp
OMG! LOVVVVE this place. I have been here on three different occasions and my love for it increased each and evey single time i went. So many delicious options to try out. Fresh food, ingredients that are used creatively. Chestnuts and tofu, anyone?! Love that dish. I could eat here every. single. day. I swear!

Yelp
Really the best! I love Terra! The visit to this restaurant was the highlight of our stay in Lisbon: wonderful, delicious food, very nice people and a surprising garden tucked away at the back. It was raining so the garden was out but the food more than made for it: I never ate so much in a restaurant in my life, you just feel that you want to try everything! If you're in Lisbon, you have to try Terra! This is what vegetarian food is supposed to be!

Yelp
Thanks qype for this great recommendation! On our Trips we are always looking for vegetarian restaurants. The terra-restaurant was best rated veggie place in Lisbon. So our expectations were high and we can only agree!!! The staff were very friendly, the garden and the restaurant very cosy and the food was fresh and delicious with a big variety. We were impressed after looking at the buffet for the first time and really surprised that they expand the variety by replacing empty bowls with new and different food. 15,90EUR is a high price, but after our first dinner in terra, we were so impressed that we went there a second time, two days later! Five stars for our best dinner-recommendation for lisbon Enjoy!!!

Yelp
Loved it! Really tasty and relaxed atmosphere. Maybe not the healthiest food, but it was a delicious treat for us. My omnivore dad enjoyed it, too!

Qype User (x-dj-…)

Yelp
Reviewed by a vegetarian: The one star awarded to this restaurant in my view is only because it is compulsory to give one or more stars. The food was absolutely rubbish. For 15.90 euros (the price for either lunch or dinner buffet), dessert was not included and neither were drinks! So for 15.90, you would assume that there would be a wide choice of cold and hot dishes. The buffet had a limited choice and what dishes they offered, were mainly cold salads. The food lacked any flavour and there were only 3-4 hot dishes. You were not even paying for the ambience of the restaurant, as the interior was nothing special. The biggest regret of my holiday.

Yelp
If you are looking for a super vegetarian restaurant in Lisbon, look no further! Okay, you have to first stomach the weird mixture of Dalai Lama photograph on the wall and kitschy all-time-favorite Christmas songs, but then you'll get amazingly good vegetarian buffet. Literally everything on the buffet is delicious and so much choice that you have to bring a serious hunger to taste them all. Great place!

Matt R.

Yelp
Consider me underwhelmed. I'm admittedly not usually a fan of buffets, but I tried nearly every dish on offer, and couldn't find a single one that I enjoyed. The tofu was tough and overcooked, the slaw tasted bitter, and I ended up eating 3 plates of plain (French dressing was the only option) spinach just to fill my belly. I'm giving it two stars because I appreciate the attempt at a fully vegetarian restaurant, but this food was just plain and all around unsatisfying. For the price (16€ pax, drinks not included) there are far better options nearby. The previous night, we had a delicious three course vegetarian meal, with a bottle of wine, at Jardim do Sentidos for basically the same price. Not sure about all the 5 star reviews this place is getting, but I can't recommend it.

Yelp
Really nice place with a beautiful and shaded outdoor terrace. Staff was really nice and able to easily point out the vegan options which were great - both hot and cold and great variety. Nothing out of this world but a really, really nice experience between the food, staff, and outdoors.
