Variety of dishes. Plenty of vegetables and meats for a daily meal. I'd go back.

The best restaurant to eat mineira food in Sao João del Rei. The price is by the weight of your dish (my plates were always around 20-26R). Also you have a buffet for desserts. Free degustation of cheese and cachaça mineira at the entrance.

To be honest this restaurant was a great disappointment for me. After reading all of the reviews I had high expectations that were not even nearly met. Pros: - nice decoration, cozy - food seemed to be fresh - cheap Cons: - limited food selection - food was just OK - possible to eat but I did not enjoy the flavours (while I love comida mineira) - very limited juice option (we were offered only orange with lemon) - the waiter seemed to have really bad day (or just really didn't like me..) Not going to come back nor recommend but maybe it was just a worse day for the restaurant.

It is likely to be the best self service restaurant in São João Del Rey. Their food is great, big variety and prices are fair. They have a table to self service sweeties that is very nice too.

very nice typical restaurant in Minas Gerais, BR. very polite waiters. Food excellent. Sweets very interesting. absolutely indicated for every kind of exigences.

There's a lot of options on the table. Red meat, fish, no meat... And a decent Belgium IPA. Totally worth it. But if you're a student, there are other stuff to do for now.
