One of the best experiences, from all aspects, that I have ever had from a BnB. The rooms are clean, spacious and recently renovated, with excellent heating/cooling. Breakfast is handmade for you every morning by the host, Greet, who is a chef, which clearly shows from the quality of ingredients used to the taste of the cooking. Greet made me feel like I was staying in the home of a family member; from personalised hand-written messages delivered with breakfast, cozy and cute fit-out of the spaces, to going over and above to cater to my needs (provided gluten-free options for me without me needing to ask). I have been back twice and will continue to come back. It is a pleasure and an honour to stay here… looking forward to eating at the restaurant next time!

The room was small, but very nicely furnished and lacked nothing. Breakfast was prepared every morning and tasted very good. For anyone who is tired of boring hotels and can enjoy a cozy atmosphere.

I had an opportunity to stay here on a recent business trip to Belgium. I was positively enchanted by this lovely place! The greeting was quick and friendly, and I got help with my bag up the stairs (which is an issue for me due to a knee injury). The room itself was charming: soothing color scheme, lovely bed linen, air-conditioning (it was extremely hot that day!), and even a cute little balcony accessible through a glass window/door. The bathroom was also wonderfully outfitted, had high-end toiletries, and was quite spacious. ||||The breakfast was minimalist, but with high quality products. I had an artisanal cream cheese that was really very tasteful. I also thought the personalized note to each guest beside their plate was a very nice touch!||||My only regret: The restaurant was closed the day I was there. I would have relished an opportunity to try a meal and wine there. It looked lovely in any case!

Staff was very friendly and correct, though a bit stiff. I think that was the style they were going for. Food was very good, especially the meat (venison steak), its cuisson and the sauce they served with it. The vegetables didn't really make me go wild *pun intended*.

Traveling for business to Beerse, I was looking for an alternative to the businesslike hotel I'm used to stay in, and the Cachet de Cire is definitely such alternative. The mezzanine room I was staying in has a comfortable bed and a spacious modern bathroom, both equipped with airconditioning. What I liked very much was the breakfast and the owner's approach to serve a varied breakfast in such small B&B in a sustainable manner: The guest is requested to chose on the evening before from a diverse list and the breakfast is then prepared accoring to that choice. A smart way to avoid that valuable food is thrown away and nonetheless allowing that everybody can have breakfast as personally preferred.||Fee, the owner of Cachet de Cire was very cordial. Thanks for a nice stay, I'll definitely choose your premises again.

We ate in the restaurant but did not stay at the BnB. It was good but not great. The people are friendly and the place is nicely decorated. I liked the look and combination of the dishes and the effort to combine tastes, but it fell short of achieving harmony, also because of overly long pauses between servings. For whatever reason, three of the five people in our party found it hard to digest and did not feel great afterwards. As we all had different dishes, maybe the wine was at fault.

We can only say that Fee from this charming B&B did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. She went above and beyond the call of duty! When we were stranded at a train station on the other side of the country, she guided us to our final stop via WhatsApp (after a long day travelling) and had chef cook us a very tasty and necessary late dinner. Rooms are spotless and breakfast had top quality produce but above all we will remember the exceptional service. Thanks guys!
