It doesn’t get much better than this. Small, modest and excellent food and service. We had the skate and the sea bream. Some of the best fish we have ever had and I’m from the Mediterranean. Our lunch was so good we returned for dinner! This place should have people queuing outside for a table!

This is a real hidden gem in Essaouira. We feel very lucky to be able to get a place to sit so easily. The menu is short and simple, yet with fresh daily ingredients. The quality of the two course meals is the best. It is rare to find that level of quality with such low prices. Be aware: they don’t have a toilet.

Really excellent restaurant, reasonably priced and delicious. Fish is the specialty and you can taste its freshness. This is a hidden gem of the town, run and staffed by women there is great attention in everything from the modest but tastefully decorated decor to the samples of home made juices they served as starters. The portions aren’t huge but you won’t go hungry. Highly recommend

Extremely fresh fish excellently prepared. They get the bread from the bakery next door and it’s still warm. Just a great meal. The only warning is that there are only 5 tables, so it might get busy in the high season, but we didn’t have a problem. And the lady working there was super nice.

Charming little place with delicious fish with good price! We passed by, saw the dishes, and went back to try it. Completely worth it. The waiter and cook were very kind and spoke English and French. There are starters on the house, and I’d recommend the ray as the main dish. We also got the shrimp and the Dourada, all delicious.

In our opinion, one of the best restaurants in Essaouira. 100% family owned, very delicious, daily varying dishes, great fish and friendly service. Came here twice in a row and had the same dish (dorade with potatoes). Make sure to check out this spot - you won't be disappointed!! Thanks for having us!

My favorite dining experience in Essaouira. Firstly they serve mezze and fresh juices then what you order. Fish was so fresh and delicious. Women who served and cooked were very kind people and cat friendly 😍 Definitely recommend

This tiny restaurant of 8 covers, with one lady chef and one lady front of house, served the best fish I’ve eaten in a few years, and easily the best meal I’ve eaten in 12 days in Morocco. Small free starters and fresh juices. Even a friendly cat, happy to sleep on a warm lap, and too well cared for to beg (much!). Perfect. Highly recommended.
