Here's Where to Try Malaysian Breakfast in the US

"A Kuala Lumpur establishment whose chef-owner emphasizes that breakfast is central to Malaysian culture and daily life—fueling business meetings, social gatherings, and even wedding events—and reflects the broader importance of traditional morning foods to national identity." - Sharon McDonnell

They have a wide variety of Malay dishes, making it a good spot for those wanting to sample a broad range of local flavours. While nothing in particular stood out as exceptional, the overall spread is satisfying and reasonably price. I really enjoyed the sup tulang and pisang goreng. Both were pretty tasty. Parking is convenient which is a big plus. Just a heads up, it does get quite crowded during lunch so maybe go a bit earlier if you can. Overall, a solid spot for a good value Malay cuisine.

At first i wasnt motivated to come but Alhamdulilah i decided to come anyways to try different malaysian foods before flying back and i must say this is a must visit and my favorite Restaurant in KL by far. The price i thought its high at first but than the quality and Huuuge variaty more than makes up for it. They had Beef, chicken and a few fish dishes mostly in form of Curry somehow (stingray, catfish etc) they had rendang, pisang goreng and many different Sambals including 2-3 different Durian-sambals and they basically have every authentic malaysian dish that you should try, so if you dont have alot of time in kl this becomes more of a must visit. The video shows the main section, not the whole buffet.

Masakan melayu, buffet style. Love the free flow sup tulang, and the variety of masak lemak. Sadly we came after the lunch hour rush, so food was slow to be refill.

Located in KL. The one that I went is near to Jalan Tangling/Bukit Aman/Bird Park. Offers a wide variety of traditional Malay dishes, perfect for those looking to explore local flavors. There are multiple private rooms available for special occasions. Conveniently located near parking, and the lunch buffet is reasonably priced at under RM90.

Been here twice and really enjoyed all the lauk, side dishes and dessert served, everything tasted great. Price is reasonable, not too cheap but not overly pricey either. The place is clean and comfortable, suitable for both small and big groups. Love the variety of dishes they offer, definitely worth coming back for more!

My colleague and I had our Ramadan dinner here, for my personal opinion, the ingredients are not fresh especially the fish, it's very fishy, some of the dishes were already cold, the roasted lamb was super super dry, it's very chewy and not juicy at all. Anyway, the fruit is good for less sweetness, you will like their fruit if you don't like sweetness. Again, this is my personal opinion, maybe you will still think their food is nice, everyone has different tastes.

The food was super tasty and the service was really friendly. Chef Ismail was so kind! The place could use a bit of upkeep, but still feels comfortable. Really enjoyed it!

Yelp
i love coming here for breakfast after #JustDoItSunday5kmGlobalRun at Taman Tasik Perdana for an almost full plate of nasi lemak (buffet style) but price charge as per set. rm5 for choices of nasi lemak, nasi goreng biasa, mee hoon goreng or lontong with choice of drink either teh o, kopi o or teh tarik. well, if you are having some lauk with your main, they will just add the lauk price to your breakfast set. what i can say is, their nasi lemak is a nasi lemak. meaning, their nasi lemak is berlemak! not like some stalls or restaurants, the so called nasi lemak is merely almost taste like nasi putih. i guess the inheritance recipe not particularly applied when doing business. kudos chef ismail for maintaining the pure nasi lemak taste. of course, my mother nasi lemak is still best since she using santan perah sendiri & lotsa of it! tips ~ if you coming here with your friends, u can taste almost the lauk if you can persuade your friends to take a diff lauk. the only downside is, rm4 for the parking inside the building. hehe. rar p/s ~ btw u get a paperbag for tapauing.
