Amazing, lively, comfortable, welcoming experience!! The wine tasting experience is highly recommended, food and entertainment options are very appealing!

Another great stop on our wandering tour of Palisade. The whole space was just beautiful - and being classic car owners, we loved seeing the collection of Mercedes around the fields. We very much enjoyed the tasting flight and left with a couple of bottles to enjoy at home. I believe our server was Blake and he shared a lot of information about the winery, each wine we tasted, and about the local area.

D R Lewis

Google
Tasted a flight of six, 3 white and 3 red. Interesting minerality across their wines, tart whites, more savory reds. Primitivo and a drier/richer Merlot were highlights. Only grow on 8 acres of their own, but source almost all their grapes locally. Doing a good job developing their brand, and a really nice outdoors tasting area. Some of the better wine we tried in Palisade.

Came with family for Mother's Day and we were so glad they were able to take walk-ins. There was a guy doing some live music, kept it soft and in the background; and an oyster food truck there (we didn't order from it since we'd had a big breakfast). Beautiful organic-modern building, patio, and landscaping. Staff there was SO nice - they cleared a small table for us and we moved it to better shade, and they didn't mind. I don't drink wine but the others in our party enjoyed a tasting of five wines (or four?) in a variety of Reds. The server's little history and info about each wine was very interesting and well done, and presented at just the right time. Met the owners briefly at the counter on our way out and they were warm and friendly. Also a dog-friendly place! We will bring our dog next time. Forgot to take photos but we'll return to Restoration!

Google
Wonderful vineyard! We have been 2 times in the last 2 months. A little chilly to sit outside, but not with the heaters and blankets they offer-Helpful staff, great wine, & dog friendly. Will be back. Great place!

Google
Beautiful vineyard with great wine and wonderful staff. We felt so welcomed and had a nice afternoon of wine tasting here. The outdoor area is very cute with multiple seating options whether you want a covered patio, a space by the fire, or just a view of the mountains. They’re dog-friendly and truly love dogs, which is so nice. There’s also some lawn games and space to keep kids busy as well.

The mesa above town on the fruit and wine byway has long been home to the majority of Palisade's best wineries. Those in the know will often take a gorgeous drive through this less trafficked agricultural paradise, rather than fight through the hordes of bike tourists downtown as they crisscross through its streets eager to check as many wineries off their lists as possible. Restoration Vineyards has not only survived but thrived on east orchard mesa, and they have restored more than just the old rundown vineyard that was there before them. They have been instrumental in reinvigorating the entire area. Parking lots are full and roads are cluttered with more bicyclists than ever as people venture away from downtown and up the steep road to see what all the fuss is about. Restoration has proven that if you make your place an undeniable and noteworthy destination, the crowds will come no matter the distance from town. What a destination it is too. Years ago after my first visit I left thinking that they had a cute spot with the best lawn in Palisade, with wine that was drinkable yet short of remarkable. It's been a joy to watch them grow and refine both their winemaking and winery into truly one of the Grand Valley's very best. Their space is perfectly laid out with a nice indoor bar, covered patio with couches, and an enormous lawn. This lawn is full to the brim with tables and chairs of all kinds and sizes to provide whatever vibe best suites you. It is the perfect spot to take in live music from the bandstand while soaking up the unparalleled views of Mount Garfield. The owners and their handpicked staff are all exceptionally kind and eager to share their passion with you. If looking for a tasting experience each glass will be served to you wherever you are on the property, a very nice touch. However, this space truly shines when bringing a picnic or grabbing lunch from the rotating food truck and sharing a bottle or two of exceptional wine with friends. I'm obviously a big fan of Restoration Vineyards, and I have no doubt you will be too.

Google
The most laid back and relaxed wine tasting I have ever attended. We sat outside and enjoyed the views and mild weather while enjoying the 6 wines on the tasting menu. We spent about an hour and a half here. The outdoor space is lovely and pet friendly, so plan to kick up your feet and spend some time!

Yelp
Visiting vineyards in Grand Junction? Don't dare skip out on this one. The tasting, like most places, will be what you want it to be. Put more into it and ask appropriate questions, expect a better experience. The stand out with this Vineyard when compared to others is the beautiful outdoor seating area that is encompassed by Vineyard. Enjoy your crafted vino with a view of the mesa. Amazing. A Ma Zing.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Such a great space, great wine & welcoming staff!! We rode our bikes to several wineries/vineyards in the area but this was our favorite. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the wines were great. They have a beautiful outdoor space & even had a fire going. The cherry on top was the complimentary s'mores station!!! Because it is the slower seasons they did not have the food trucks on a Sunday when we went.

Emily C.

Yelp
Stopped by intending to do a tasting, but learned that Restoration Vineyards doesn't do tastings during Band in the Barrel events (and we didn't know what that was!). We were initially disappointed and going to leave to move on to the next winery, but so glad we didn't! We ended up enjoying the Barbera wine on the lawn until closing and had the best time listening to live music, sipping on some delicious wine, and soaking up the awesome and relaxing vibes!

Teresa H.

Yelp
We had a GREAT time here on Saturday, even though the weather was hot. Live music, food truck and a very lively atmosphere. Because of the event, they we're only serving bottles and glasses, which was fine with us since was our second stop of the day and we tasted at our first stop. We had the Albariño and it was delicious. Josephine our "wine angel" was so friendly and attentive, she definitely added to the experience. The whole staff was very welcoming. If you only have time to go to one winery, I would definitely suggest Restoration Vineyards!

Jenna J.

Yelp
Restoration has a really nice courtyard with shaded seating and plenty of chairs. The views of Mount Garfield are stunning too. We had a few servers stop by and chat, all super friendly and the tasting is only $20. They also usually have a food truck, Southern Belle was there the day we went and it was delicious.

Carly L.

Yelp
A must-stop if you are visiting the Palisade area. We decided to opt for a wine tasting as we heard amazing things about this place and wanted the whole experience. The wine tasting comes with 6 pours (3 white, 3 red). All of the wines were delicious, but their white wines are amazing!! After the tasting- we lounged on the chairs under the nice shaded area and listened to a talented musician as we sipped on our peach Sangria. The ambiance was everything I could have hoped for - beautiful scenery, delicious wines, and staff that was as cordial as they can come. We didn't eat here, but there were two food trucks parked directly on their grounds. I more than once looked around at everyone's smiling faces thinking "This place really knows how to make people happy." I can't wait to come back to Palisade to do it all over again and try some more of their delicious wines. Put Restoration Vineyards on your list of wineries to try, you will not regret it.

Elena B.

Yelp
This Family friendly, cute and well designed space attracts even more wine lovers! It was a busy Friday night and we had so much fun here!

Irina R.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite winery in Palisade. Everything is absolutely perfect about this location: beautiful grounds with lots of outdoor seating space (perfect grass lawn vs gravel that most of the places have), breathtaking views, amazing wine, outstanding customer service. They can accommodate huge groups of people, and have quite a bit of different wines (specializing in dry wine) to choose from. On certain dates they also have live music. Wine tasting is $15 and if you purchase a bottle of wine, they take it down to $5 and apply $10 to your wine. I definitely recommend checking out this place!

Reba J.

Yelp
Saturday afternoon delight We dropped in on a hot July Saturday afternoon after visiting 2 other vineyards. The vineyard has large sun shades stretched across their lawn to provide much needed sun cover. A live band of three were entertaining the patrons. 2 food trucks offered gyros and Thai food. Wine is cheaper by the bottle instead of per glass. Vineyard closes at 5. We would return.

Sydney H.

Yelp
Everything was great! We had Patrick as our server and he was SO SO knowledgeable and kind. Great wine and beautiful venue! 10 stars!

Lauren G.

Yelp
Best winery I've tried in the valley this year! The atmosphere is lovely and so peaceful being that it is a little off the beaten path. The service was warm and attentive as well. I wish I had tried the red wines but, I am a California full-bodied red lover lol, so I tend to enjoy the whites on the Western slope more. And Restoration's whites did not disappoint! The albariño was crisp and had a nice minerality. The vermentino was reminiscent of a chardonnay. The partially shaded patio was the perfect place to relax on a sunny spring day. The views of the vineyard/orchard and Mt Garfield in the distance were the icing on the cake!

Ed S.

Yelp
Chill atmosphere, amazing live music on a Saturday afternoon. The band had a cello, a violin and a guitar but rocked the 80s and 90s music. Wine was great as well as the food truck. What a great day !!

Nina S.

Yelp
A perfect Sunday afternoon spent at Restoration Vineyards. Clint took such great care of us! We really enjoyed our time there and look forward to going back one day!

Leanna C.

Yelp
I HIGHLY recommend Restoration to anyone visiting Palisade. This is one of my favorite wineries to visit. The wine is amazing, the service is stellar and the ambiance is unrivaled. This is one of the few wineries that has a grassy area with chairs. The band and the barrel series on Saturday's is such a fun touch. You do need reservations to attend to reserve your spot early!

Megan M.

Yelp
What a great vineyard! Beautiful location with plenty of seating indoor and outdoors. We went in the winter and there was a massive fire and heaters. The bar tender was lovely and gave us food and other winery recommendations! Also... free snacks!!! I mean what's not to love. Oh of course, great wine!

Haley K.

Yelp
Great tasting menu! Super quiet and clean properly! Staff were friendly and attentive!

Hannah K.

Yelp
My husband and I had such a great time at Restoration!! Gary, the owner, was so fun and enthusiastic and the vineyard was gorgeous. Will 100% be here again! Thank you!

Megan J.

Yelp
Another solid vineyard in Palisade among the dozens. The location is one of the best with great views and beautiful well kept grounds. The tasting room is relatively small but they have ample outdoor seating for when weather permits. It was busy even on a random weekday mid afternoon. The wine is good with a couple that stood out more. One downside is they have a very small selection.

Brian B.

Yelp
This place is amazing. If you are ever on the western slope in Orchard Mesa check them out. Their wine is fantastic, staff is wonderful. Savanna was a great host, engaging and very fun to be around. This was a beautiful place to spend the afternoon. We will return next time we are in town. Thank you for a great day!!!

Regina P.

Yelp
Gorgeous property. Experience was ruined by incredibly rude staff and very average wine.

Kelsey A.

Yelp
Restoration is a great spot for outside wine tasting. The little courtyard was wonderful to sit at and enjoy the outdoors. The reason I am giving them 4 stars is because of variety of wines. I am a sweet to semi-sweet white wine lover, Restoration has mostly dry wines. Wine however is subjective to taste. Their tastings you can buy 4 whites for $10 and if you buy a bottle you get $5 off your fee. Same applies for the reds but they only have 3 red wines. If you do all 7 it is $15 but if you buy a bottle it is $10 off your fee. Even though most of the wines were on the drier side, we were able to find a bottle to buy making our tasting fee only $5. Overall it was a great little winery to checkout but I wouldn't necessarily go again.

Mara S.

Yelp
We went here on the recommendation of some friends, and it really did live up to all the hype! The tasting bar was small and intimate, and we had a good conversation with some folks who were next to us. We chatted with one of the servers too, who was he husband of (one of?) the winemaker, who does all the car restorations. Everyone was so nice, and they had a lot of information about the wine. They also had an interesting tasting where you could compare oak-aged versus aged in stainless steel. I think we both preferred the oak aged. Overall this was such a fun experience with really nice people!

Dee C.

Yelp
Amy from Green Barn recommended this winery to us while we were picking up peaches. They have a large lawn area with comfortable chairs with an awesome view of the vineyard and mountains. We did tasting for $10 for all 6 on the list. The wines both white and red were a bit too dry for me but the hubs enjoyed the Chardonnay so we purchased a bottle of that. When you make a purchase, they waived the tasting charge which is an added bonus.

Yelp
Refined, but not stuffy. We had a knowledgeable server who explained everything to us and managed everyone nicely as a one-woman operation. She offered Otter Pops to our two kids which was really nice. The wine was great - loved the whites especially.

Jason W.

Yelp
Amazing views of grand Mesa. Wine tasting was phenomenal, and unlike other vineyards they did full pours. Lastly the story of the vineyard and how it came to be is amazing. They were able to restore the vines from near death, and the wife is their wine master, who taught here self to make some of my favorite Colorado wines.

Mariah W.

Yelp
I came here on our anniversary tasting your. We drove past and debated going since there were so many wineries in the area but I am so very glad we turned around. I really think that this winery has an incredibly well maintenance facility. We came in towards the end of their tasting times and we were treated as if we were the first wine tasting of the day although we were the last. The atmosphere was super fun and we were met with a friendly welcome not just from the staff but from the guests tasting there as well. The wine tasting area was kind of tiny so we had to wait a little bit in order to taste, but it was well worth the wait. We were introduced to one of their italian-style wines. One of the guests spoke so highly of it since he was actually Italian. It was the Barbera red. Let me tell you... it is absolutely fantastic. We purchased a bottle and have since drink it with a party of friends and they all absolutely loved it and had never had a red that was so well crafted. It wasn't too robust in flavor, nor did it have a bitter or dry experience the way most reds do, but it had enough flavor elements that just left you amazed. The owner was so friendly and we had a nice conversation with him. Very intimate conversation for being closing time and I greatly appreciate his willingness to make it more of an old friend environment than a customer-service environment. The facility also had an incredible outside yard area where it look like you could hold events or that they had fun events going on. I know that they do not distribute their wine so in order for me to get the Barbera wine again we will have to make another trip, and it may just be a yearly tradition for us to go out and get this wine for our anniversary.

Daphne D.

Yelp
This place is just perfect! The wines are delightful and the ambience/winery is very nice. It's absolutely worthwhile to sit and enjoy a glass or two of wine and have a French crepe!!! I bought 2 bottles of the 2016 Barbera.

Sara P.

Yelp
Wow!! This was just the best experience!!! We have been missing wine tasting since COVID so decided to come out to palisades to give it a try. We were not disappointed, rather incredibly impressed! The wine was so delicious (closest we've tried to French wine in CO) and the owners were able to give us a lot of history! They spent a bit of time with us and we absolutely loved every second! I accidentally purchased a few bottles (hubby says not too much room at home...but we will drink it fast). So good! You must visit!

Candace C.

Yelp
If I could give this six stars I would! We went on a Wednesday afternoon and Gary, the owner really gave us some wonderful information on his winery, the wines we tasted and we felt so welcome. We grabbed some Adirondack chairs and sat in the grass - we could have stayed there all day! The wines were wonderful, the atmosphere couldn't be beat and we learned a lot. We also bought a terrific piece of art to go along with the bottles of wine that came home. Cannot recommend enough - go and you won't be disappointed!

Abby G.

Yelp
The grounds are beautiful! Live music and cute umbrellas setup for social distancing! The food truck was a nice touch and perfect for an afternoon snack. The wine was good and it was a really nice afternoon to spend in the sun! We will definitely be back! The Chardonnay was crisp and perfect for a summer afternoon!

Megan S.

Yelp
We had such a pleasant experience here! The owners were lovely and very hospitable. We highly recommend the Cabernet Franc! The vineyard was also ideal for photo ops!

Wendy D.

Yelp
We enjoyed our visit to Restoration Vineyard very much and love their story of bringing the vines back to life! Amanda was very knowledgeable about all of the wines and fun to talk to. The owner Gary was also present in the tasting room & and a delight. Tasting and talking about his wine brought true pride and joy. We enjoyed each wine we tasted and absolutely loved the Cabernet Franc, which of course came home with us.

Gary H.

Yelp
How perfect was the service! My wife and I looked at the sampling menu for a couple of minutes. It became obvious to me that my wife was not going to find a "sweet" wine at this establishment. The lady serving us did not argue. She did not try to pacify us. She knew the customer was right, and she kindly directed us to a competitor that could better serve my wife's desire. I was disappointed because it looked like a pretty nice place to hang out. But, my wife was happy, and I was as well at the next stop. THANK YOU.

Larson C.

Yelp
Got to try the barbera that was pending a release. This was worth the stop alone. Chardonnay, cab franc, and barbera are fantastic. Their tasting takes you through all of these as well as a good Sauvignon blanc and red blends. Nice open lawn with spaced out chairs. Coupled with a nice sunny day and you'll want to spend the day here.

Crystal H.

Yelp
Really great experience at the new Restoration Vineyard. Tasting was complimented by a meat and cheese platter. After falling in love with too many varieties, we purchased a bottle and opened it outside overlooking the vineyard and the Mesa. Really glad Gary and his wife purchased this property & look forward to our next trip to Palisade to stop by again!

Motly C.

Yelp
My wife and myself visited this winery recently (July 2022) it was an especially nice facility. We did wine tastings but all five wines were had way too much citric acid? Hopefully they will solve this issue?

Sarah M.

Yelp
Lovely spot to sit on a sunny day. We came by Friday just before lunch time and could have sat there all afternoon. Great wines, friendly staff.

Deidre L.

Yelp
Hands down, one of my favorite wineries in Colorado. I wanted to buy a case of every wine and I'm not a white wine drinker. I loved the story of how the winery was created and how delicious the wine is. Did I mention that the wine is AMAZING. This is a place I will definitely visit when I am back in palisade.

David M.

Yelp
They did a nice job with the tasting. Wines were good as we bought a couple of bottles. Much better than the vineyard down the road. I have heard this is the best winery in the area.

Rose H.

Yelp
A little something for everyone! The ladies in my group did the wine tasting, the men hit the food truck, the patio, and checked out the old cars. The owner and his wife are the nicest people- we felt right at home. If they added some cocktails and more patio space it would be pretty much perfect. Definitely the most stunning views in Palisade!

Sherri H.

Yelp
Amazing, Amazing Amazing place! We checked out 3 wineries when we came to visit and this was our favorite. The property is stunning, the service is amazing and the owner was great. He was super entertaining and took the time to chat with us. Super knowledgeable and a great entertainer. He even had snacks for my teen age daughter who was hanging out. Place is beautiful and super clean. We bought some wine and we will definitely be back next time we are in town!!

Faith P.

Yelp
Absolutely love this winery. Great wine. Great views. Great service. We love coming here!

Mike C.

Yelp
Super friendly people and very nice layout. Overall a good experience. The tasting price is very reasonable. The wines are ok maybe overpriced for the quality but the staff and ambiance make up for the price.

Sarah M.

Yelp
One of the new wineries in town and a not-to miss. The staff was so helpful! We came for the wine, (obviously) :) and ended up leaving with wine AND some fantastic art! She was so sweet with bringing all of the art out, letting us look and all the while, serving us wonderful wine and giving us an enjoyable experience. We were also helped by the owner and she is a delight!! They seem to really love what they do and have invested their hearts into creating something delicious and well priced. It is a well decorated place even with the echo. lol! But the view! The view is one of the better views of all of the wineries and there are no shortage of those. Their reds are my favorites but I usually favor reds anyway. They all had a nice finish without too many tannins and obviously I took a bottle or two with me! Restoration will be added to our short list of wineries we visit in Palisade and that list is quite short. No point in wasting time at places that aren't as good when we could be here!

Todd A.

Yelp
Awesome winery. They have a great story on how they got up and going. What they have so far is very good and I look foward to stopping by again in the future to see what new wines they have out. Staff is also awesome.

Neal E.

Yelp
Can I say enough about how this place is my favorite winery in palisade!? From the super friendly staff, to the wonderful wine, the cool old Mercedes, and quite possibly the best location to lounge and enjoy a glass of wine in the valley.

Amy G.

Yelp
Beautiful views & great service. A band was playing when we went. We liked the Semillon & Barbera the best, would like to try the Reserve Cab Franc but it is $58/bottle & no buy the glass option.

Susan K.

Yelp
Do not miss Restoration winery when you come to Colorado wine country. Katie kept us happy with wine and conversation. So friendly! If you don't drink wine go for the view!!!!!!

Mark S.

Yelp
This place is definitely raising the bar for Palisade wineries. The property is beautiful and events are a lot of fun. The owners are fantastic people; welcoming and genuinely seem to enjoy their trade. And of course, the wine. It is so good! I personally can't get enough of the Barbera.
