Retro Hostel

Stayed there for 2 days and the room was pretty good. You can have free tea and coffee, and there is a kitchen that you can use. The room was small but clean and comfortable. I used the self-check in method and it was pretty easy to access the room. The only problem is the vending machine inside, which takes the money and doesn’t deliver the product though I tried 3 times. Also, the music outside can be too loud sometimes but it did not bother me much.

Single Room is small and basic. Has a TV, bed and wardrobe. Mirror is cracked and blinds stained and broken. Rooms face onto the street at the front and it was quite noisy from bars etc. nearby. The aircon didn’t work and opening the windows lets in noise in the evening from the. Shared bathroom is nice but it ran out of toilet paper. There is a shared kitchenette. Location is good. It’s fine for a short no frills stay, but you get what you pay for.

Superb hostel, especially if you like the feeling of sleeping in a bar. If not and you want to close the window, you’ll enjoy the feeling of sleeping in a sauna. Except the bar right next to the hostel that plays cheap house music at night, the localisation is quite central and the hostel is very clean. Nevertheless Cluj is a very nice city and is worth visiting.

Hostel with a personality. They have a sauna and cellar where you can hang out if you want. They provide great informaation about Romania and the county.

the place is very clean, the best are confy, the manager in very gentle, I have some troubles during my stay and he help me to solve them. Even he lend me some tool to fix my motorbike. It's really close to the city center and close to some small cute bars arround.

The rooms are clean, hygienic and includes lockers. The service was beyond expectations with the souvenirs in the morning to the coffee in the hallway and location wise. What can I say? It’s in the old town accessible to all the touristic places.

Booked for 2 nights and stayed four. Superb location with a wonderful staff. Ultra clean with everything I needed. Decor is indeed retro. A highlight was the social room.

This hostel is on the edge of the Old Town, with the remnants of the south wall to its side. There's a very cool common room in the basement, down some very steep stairs, also a sauna, but I didn't use it. The kitchen, a bedroom and lobby are on the ground floor and the rest of the bedrooms are upstairs. There's no lift. My bed was comfortable, there was a bathroom in the dorm. I used the wifi in the dorm and in the common room - strong signals in both. Access to the room and to the hostel itself are by a code which they send you, but the host was there quite a lot of the time - he seemed pretty helpful.
