If your looking for some unique items, Retrock is your place. Prices are onto the high side though. But worth checking out when shopping in Budapest if you're looking for a different experience. Beware the cash only policy or else you'd be spending so much time trying stuff and leaving empty handed

Expensive for East Europe (see prices below), but you’re paying for a curated, clean, quality item in a trendy setting. Everything is easy to find. 💰Average Prices: vintage leather satchels €100, Barbour jackets €150 (large selection upstairs and downstairs), long sleeve men’s button ups €10-20, vintage silk Japanese kimonos €100+, silk vintage Americana bombers €35-60, leather jackets €80-120 Mostly Americana vintage, with some Italian and Eastern European. Plenty of denim, fur, corduroy, knit, cashmere, & leather options. All genders. Changing rooms on both floors. ♿️ Second floor is not accessible (large flight of stairs). First floor is accessible. Lighting is great. Music is soft.

The shop is a two story big place with laid back vintage atmosphere in a very good location. The clothes are either second hand or from small brands, many unique and special pieces. The blonde guy was helpful and patient with me, all around good experience with the shop, will be visiting again

The Japanese vintage dresses and kimonos were great. 10 % discount cash. Super clean and old and taken care items. Wide variety of bummer jackets 80s style. Loved it.

Pricey, but there are many nice things and a huge variety. This place had been recommended in some travel guides I saw before coming to Budapest. Definitely worth a visit to judge it yourself. Beware that they only take cash though, it wasn’t very obvious. I think it’s wild to only accept cash when your prices are this high, I personally didn’t have enough bills on me, so I had to leave empty-handed. It must be bad for business. 🤷

Nice shop. Okay-ish prices. As someone also coming from a post-socialist country, the customer treatment reminds me of historical times, and can definitely be less (passive) aggressive and more friendly - they told me i’m ruining their display just by asking for a hat that was loosely put in the window display. No thank you or bye after purchase. I’m happy with my hat but I won’t be coming here again any time soon. A pity.

They have ok pieces at really high prices+ the staff is extremely unfriendly and not ready to help the costumers. I asked about an item wich was in the window (it had a price tag on it) but the employee didn’t want to get it because he was to lazy probably. (When i asked he was talking to another employee and dismissed me with one very unfriendly sentence) would not recommend

Well worth a visit if you are into retro clothes. Plenty to browse on two floors. Quite a chic place.
