Revolution Wine Bistro

Long awaited visit to the bistro! RVLT and its easy CBD access to these legendary nuggets is sorely missed , but we’ve been waiting to try their bistro offering, which did not disappoint! Kicking off with sourdough bread, seaweed butter and cured trout as the appetisers, and moving on to the delicious hua diao clams linguine! Gonna be thinking of this one for sure! The roasted vegetables were delicious even as someone who doesn’t like her veggies. The legendary nuggets of course were just as good as we remembered, so good we had two servings ! Finishing off with a sweet note at dessert: pandan madeleines with the perfect chef’s kiss crisp, caramelised edges in bite-sized delights. The gula melaka parfait stroopwafel was an East Meets West revelation of elevated ice cream sandwich with a grown up twist ! Service was wonderful with all staff delightful even as it got busy with the weekend lunch crowd. Really appreciative of the helpfulness and great service. So good!! Great food, great ambience and really friendly service. One of the best brunches we’ve had in awhile. The meal started with waves of apps — the taramasalata was a standout and really satisfying. The egg dish was a wonderful combo of perfectly runny eggs, fried oyster, onion foam and more. I loved my main - 8-treasures porridge encrusted in flaky pastry (think: super elevated soup spoon). My partner chose fried chicken was his main, which was also solid but less mind blowing. The wines were interesting as well. All in all super satisfying and insane value for money!

Revolution, a bistro with a difference Located in Henderson Industrial park, next to an amazing furniture & design store, this was an unexpected pleasure! Having a “Light” lunch with my Dr. Friend, we were treated to a really nice meal! Service was great, attentive and detailed! Recommendations for meal & drink by a true professional, casual, welcoming yet detailed and forthcoming. Although our lunch crowd was somewhat manageable, I was told dinner has a true following! Menu & pricing was super price - value oriented! Food selection while not overwhelming it was perfect for a lunch setting! We were also told that the Sourdough bread was home made, it certainly was excellent, served with seaweed butter? (Why do I always need to remind restaurateurs that the best part is the crispy end cut? Our first course consisted of Cured Ocean Trout and a rather unique steak tartar! The Ocean Trout was a total 💯 pointer! Simple perfection that was a pure gourmets dream! Sensational, I would go back just for that! 10 out of 10 The steak tartar was rather “unique” handcut beef, well composed, topped with pearls of Egg, accompanied by excellent crisp fries! For me I personally prefer the traditional Tartar, but ok this was decent, but lacked ooomph! 7 out of 10 The Kale Salad with a mini Wagyu Steak, apparently StockYard from New Zealand! The salad was excellent, perfect composition of fresh kale with added ingredients and a superb dressing slightly acidic, topped with fried Kale Leave,(suggestion: bigger bowl or smaller salad so mixing it doesn’t end up half in the table :-), ) The steak however was chewy to say the least! So, Salad 8 out of 10, the steak 5 out of 10 The Linguine with clams , were perfect! The sauce to die for, fresh clams, couldn’t ask for more! Better than many Italian restaurants! 9 out of 10 Dessert we were served Mini Pandan Madeleines, small, tasty, but lack of Pandan Flavour! The winner was the Kalamansi Meringue Pie, just sweet indulging fulfilment! Loved the presentation! 9 out of 10 The wine was nice, great for a lunch of this style! Overall very happy either way the offering, a fun lunch venue in a not so traditional area! $28.80 weekday set lunch at a sophisticated wine bistro! The restaurant is so elegantly decorated I thought it was part of the showroom. The set includes: • choice of pasta • salad or fries • cold beverage (iced tea, lemonade) or hot coffee SHARING 🐓 Chicken nuggets with tomato sriracha ($20)- nope, not those frozen kind. They make their own! 🍞 Sourdough bread, whipped seaweed butter ($8)- mum has been raving about this for weeks. Expectations met haha. PASTA 🍝 “Hua diao” clams linguine ($19.80) 🦐 Prawn sambal rosa tagliatelle ($19.80) 🐄 Black pepper wagyu mini steak bucatini ($22.80) 🍄‍🟫 Mushroom fricassee mafaldine ($19.80) I didn’t take photos of everything but generally delicious and rather filling. Just take into account preference of sauce and protein when ordering. DESSERT 💚 Pandan madeleine ($6)- perfectly done! Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. 🍋‍🟩 Burnt meringue calamansi tart ($12)- well balanced sweet and tart flavours. 🧇 Gula melaka parfait stroopwafel ($4)- we got a hint of alcohol! All desserts are freshly made to order. If you are going in a group or have space for dessert, I would recommend trying everything.

The staff provides truly impressive attention and service. The food is served in generous portions, made with carefully selected ingredients, and every dish is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic, perfect for gatherings with friends or a date night. All menu options pair beautifully with wine, and the knowledgeable sommelier offers excellent recommendations from a diverse wine selection. I will definitely be coming back.

Lovely laid back atmosphere. Amazing selection of wines. Delicious and generously proportioned brunch food. Stellar service. What else can one ask for on a Sunday afternoon.

A most unpretentious place to enjoy good grub and a bottle of wine Their chicken nuggets made in house is damn shiokadoodas! Folks who bother to play around with the ratios of breast, thigh meat and cartilage and even their flour mix… feed ppl with love Service was great but never overbearing Only gripe is that restrooms are on the second level of the industrial building they’re located in. But kept clean and no weird fragrances ahahha Will definitely be back to try other items on their menu and wine

Came here for lunch. Ordered a la carte instead of the set menu so I could choose exactly what I wanted, the price difference was negligible. Service & food was excellent. I liked the fusion flavors. For dessert, the stroopwafel was amazing. I took the bus here. It's on the corner of the block (Google Maps puts it in the middle of Blk 211, which is wrong.)
