Rex Hanoi Hotel

We had a great stay at Hotel Rex Hanoi! The hotel is in a strategic location, very close to the night markets, restaurants, and major attractions, which made exploring the city super convenient. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety to choose from, and the staff were incredibly supportive and helpful throughout our stay. A special thanks to Hannie, who went out of her way to assist us with our trip planning and regularly checked in to make sure we were comfortable. Her warmth and hospitality truly made a difference. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi — a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service!

Very comfortable hotel right in the heart of the old quarter. Lots of food, shopping and activities within walking distance. Service is friendly, breakfast is top notch. Pool is a little odd right in a thoroughfare. Rooftop bar has amazing views. Our room was nice. On the second day the air con broke and they moved us to another room on a lower floor. (Level 4, down from 8) and it was a bit noisier from the street but it was ok.

Excellent location. Staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Tracy at the front desk who helped arrange for our Ninh Bình tour. We really enjoyed our morning buffet breakfast. Mrs. Vivian and her crew are very attentive and provide wonderful service. We would definitely come back and stay here again. We love everything about this hotel.

The Rex hotel was fantastic! The pool is indoors and we used this daily. Such a refreshing treat after getting "lost" in the old quarter. The staff were all so attentive and all our needs were met. Location is spot on for exploring the area. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food. The rooms were quiet and beds very comfy.

The Rex Hanoi Hotel was all about experience!, The warm , friendly and so very helpful staff. A big shout out to Kim from the front desk. She has been exceptionally and super helpful. Since the moment I choose this hotel , she has been very patient and answered all my questions to put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable. Great Job Kim !! The rooms are super comfortable , spacious and very elegant. The location of the hotel is fab and most of the places are walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast is exception with a lot of variety and friendly staff !! Loved my stay and definitely coming back to the hotel . The customer service makes this an exceptional hotel .

Honestly this hotel has not exceeded my expectations. It has been one of the worst hotels i have stayed in for customer service. The people dont greet you when you walk through the front door and even when you stand at reception the employees ignore you for a few minutes. This hotel does have great amenities like a swimming pool and a rooftop bar, but that's all you're paying for. The pool is too cold to swim in anyways. The room that my partner and I got had no windows and the price for the hotel was expensive in comparison to other hotels. Go down the street and stay at hotel emerald Waters classy. Better service, better rooms and better prices. Our room smelt of mould, the air-conditioning was faulty and the only thing the hotel could provide was a different room, which had the same issue as well. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Not worth the money, the service needs improving and the rooms are nothing special for the price you pay.

We’ve had a great stay at the Rex hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff, with a lovely surprise for our 5 year anniversary which was greatly appreciated. Both the reception staff and guest relations manager were very friendly and accommodating. Hillary at the rooftop bar was also incredibly kind with tips for Hanoi. Can greatly recommend this hotel and hope to be back very soon!

Would definitively recommend Rex Hotel for a stay in Hanoi Old quarter. Right in the heart of EVERYTHING a great place to explore from. About the hotel - Rooms are nice, shower good, beds comfty. Breakfast is really good with fantastic variety and the service is lovely & helpful. Even though you’re right in the heart it’s quiet. Front reception staff are very helpful especially Christine :)
