Beautiful property and spacious, well-appointed rooms. Nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Great having a kitchen and dining area, and loved having a balcony as well. The breakfast basket refilled each day was very handy, and it worked out great being able to pack lunches to have on the go while out seeing the island. Free laundry downstairs was a huge plus. Staff were very helpful and available 24/7. Fantastic location right on the main strip and very walkable, although the downside to this was it was not very convenient getting in and out with luggage & gear since we could not drive up and had to find parking elsewhere. Overall had a great stay and would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a centrally located hotel, with clean, well appointed rooms, then look no further. The Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel is a wonderful establishment. They offer breakfast delivered to your room. There were enough provisions for breakfast and lunch. Every morning, a loaf of fresh, delicious sourdough bread was left at our door. We stayed in a junior suite and the kitchenette was handy for take away food and easy meal prep. The staff was very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Highly Recommended. We loved our 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment that was perfect for our family vacation. It was centrally located and well-appointed. We used it as the "hub" for our extended adventures out and about in Iceland. The RRH staff were very professional, and I thank them for their service over 6 months, from booking in February through our stay in early August. No matter was too small or too large for them to handle with grace. We loved our breakfast baskets and receiving our "daily bread" on the door each morning. Our building also had a laundry room in the basement, which we used twice. Our particular apartment also had a beautiful vista of the harbor and the mountains beyond. On a practical note, Iceland is very expensive, and booking an apartment with RRH is cost-effective, especially for a family that needs 2 bedrooms and bathrooms for an extended period. In closing, we also want to thank the service staff who kept our apartment in tip-top shape daily.

Amazing vacation staying at this hotel in the heart of the city. Room was really comfortable and quiet, with a stylish and modern look. The guys in the reception were very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located right next to a central street full of shops and restaurants, so the atmosphere is cozy and nice.

Such a wonderful stay! Check in and check out were very easy, and even though we arrived way before check in (around 7 am) and left after check out (around 5 pm), they let us store a large amount of luggage and had really nice bathrooms in the reception area to freshen up after being on the plane and to change for the plane on the way out - so we were able to fully enjoy the hours in the city before we checked in and after we checked out.|The people at the front desk were very helpful, providing us all the information and advice about the city we requested and booking us taxis that made our trip very smooth. Special thanks to Sebastian who was so helpful to my large family (that had many questions and needs)!|The rooms were also pristine and very spacious. It was like being in an apartment more than a hotel with a full kitchen area and a separate living space so my teen son was able to comfortably stay on the sofa bed (and watch tv all hours) without disturbing my husband and my sleep! Also, we had a lovely balcony!|Location was also perfect! A short walk to everything in downtown Reykjavik! Just a great experience all around!

We rented a two bedroom apartment for 4 nights. The apartment was beautiful - modern and comfortable design, great location and super clean. Staff was very welcoming and helpful with any questions. Excellent stay - very happy to have chosen this lovely residence.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Reykjavik. The room is very clean and they would prepare the sofa bed for you in advance too! They also provide free milk and orange juice and cereal! Front office is friendly and helpful. Also you can find P2 parking nearby and it’s free and safe after 9pm. Lots of good restaurants nearby too. I would stay here again next time.

Awesome stay for a week in the Reykjavik Residence Hotel, the room was very clean and comfortable, with a modern stylish design, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty, varying each day.|The folks at the reception have been really nice and helpful with any inquires I had, providing great service and eager to help with any information or suggestions.|The superior studio I stayed in was really quiet and I couldn't hear any noise from outside. The location is perfect, as it's close to several bus stops from which most day trips are starting, and within walking distance of many sights around the city. The main street full of shops and restaurants is right close the the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
